Why do posts here have to specifically cater to us? It'll be the same shit all over again like the feminists. The posts here are for all men, whatever the type.

Man of color here (I hate being called that, we're all men in this together). They don't give a shit, if you disagree with then you're a man first.

This is the best read I've had in a while, and also the most depressing. Knowing that even if you hold yourself to a high standard, most people around you won't, and that the world is going to go to shit regardless dragging you down with it.

What's the exact name of the movie? I'm getting mixed results on Google.

Right. Starting out with high SMV is the key, from what I gather reading this (and other) posts. I'm trying to figure a strategy for now. I'm only 21 so there's some time to build towards it.

One day I'll graduate and have enough time to move on with my life, especially outside of Toronto. Fuck this place, I just want to get my degree and leave.

Toronto is the opposite. Don't try to game here, it's awful.

You give me hope. Though I live in Toronto, the SJW capital of NA so things are looking rather grim here...

I don't know man...I don't see any mainstreaming of hard truths. It's all washed over lies and propaganda...

Could you elaborate more on this change?

When there's course material I understand (in Engineering) it gives me a high that I can only compare to deadlifting at the gym. Everything falls into place and I feel powerful against the onslaught of questions in the textbook.

Oh I see, I've done it before but I avoid alcohol now because it tends to bring out the worst in me (I say some really dark stuff and I'm not sure my friends can handle it).

At this point I'm not even sure what that means.

That sounds a lot like my top pastimes. Want to be friends on steam? I'm not very high MMR but I play to have fun. edit: okay maybe not the good bitch part, but the rest do line up.

Well...I don't want to stereotype but truth be told a lot of computer science (male) students are socially awkward (or given up completely on being social with the world). They probably just forced themselves to go tough on you so it wouldn't look like they're hitting on you. If I had to take a guess about half of the students are like that. Maybe I was like that too, during my awful first year (I wasn't used to freedom and everything backfired). Two things helped me get out of it - Gyming to be…

All I can think is if a dude got 92% in my class (I'm in software engineering, so pretty similar) no one would even bat an eye except the occasional "congrats man". Also you shouldn't be surprised at the newspaper for not printing your opinion, they print to sell, not to advocate truth.

Well, I don't think age has anything to do with being clingy and jealous. A man with abundance in his life doesn't have any of those disorders. I don't have abundance, because I'm a financially crippled engineering student, but since I'm kind of aware of this issue I make sure don't cling to anyone. Also, programs dominated my men? Our university has been working hard to turn their programs 50-50. Not just adding women to engineering/science, but men to nursing/biology. The impact of this move e…

Well, I've been going through the "oh shit, you're over 20 now so you better not talk to 17 year old girls anymore because they can send you to jail any time" phase, I've learnt to deal with it (I like older women anyway but it's still a fucking pain).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
