It depends. In the summer (day time) I either go bare, or just a minimal dusting of powder/bronzer/blush + mascara and lip gloss. At night I might do a subtle smoky eye. I'm blessed with lovely Mediterranean skin which makes this easy. The winter is a totally different story. In the winter when I resemble a pasty, hallow-eyed, monster I will go for medium coverage liquid foundation + concealer + powder.

Morning: Smoothie full of nutritious ingredients. Some fitness activity (gym/class/yoga/rock climbing). Shower, wash my body with Dr. Bromner's and my face with Cetaphil then use a BHA (Paula's Choice) for exfoliation followed by a light moisturizer from Clinque. I know women like that. I don't have them as friends because it's hard for me to keep my mouth shut about their life choices. I pity them because they're so completely broken, but at the same time root for them to wake up and make some real, hard choices about the direction they're going in.

I don't the person you described is a woman capable of differentiating between lasting love and ephemeral lust or what that means for her in her life. Women like that are the last people capable of giving advice, especially pertaining to relationships. They're also always the first ones to jump in with their two cents.
