Love the initiative you set up here. Definitely think it's something we should all look to set into practice more often. One thing that I've taken away from your video (along with many other posts in this subreddit) is that we shouldn't sell ourselves short. A girl sending you one word replies? Not expressing the same level of interest? Making you feel inadequate? Move the fuck on. I get that you're attracted, but don't bend over backwards just to get their attention. Not worth it. I'm gonna dis…

I'd give you a medal if I could, but since I can't, here's a makeshift one instead.🏅Thanks for writing this. I think a huge mistake that a lot of guys - especially myself - tend to make is not knowing how to draw this fine line. Some will go lengths to make sure their girls feel as though they're the center of their universe; some others don't give two fucks. But I think your "you had a life before them.. don't lose that life life in an attempt to be who they think they want you to be" nails the…

Not sure if here's the right place to be asking this, but let's just say that you've practiced and mastered this technique. And let's just say suddenly, you meet someone that you'd like to commit to, how would you make this transition? Because as much as I adore this technique, a part of me also realised this only addresses the initial part of getting the girl.

What happens when a fruit you bought goes bad earlier than expected? You move on, bro.

I think that the intention is different. A lot of guys on dating apps don't date with the intention of getting into a relationship, despite them saying otherwise. (May be a hasty generalization, and if so, I apologise.) I don't really know the whole story either, but my assumption is that many guys who started off wanting a relationship eventually adopt the method you're mentioning because being vulnerable is simply not rewarding. But this can also be pointed to our own personality. I feel like,…

Lol. No, I'm just tired of people perpetuating a practice that really isn't healthy. And yeah, I agree.

Yes, they will. So just forget those who aren't interested. And no, I'm a dude.

Softening the blow from rejections while perpetuating the same actions that made him feel this same way initially? That doesn't sound right to me. ...so when they say they can’t make it or take ages to reply, I’m fine cuz I have a replacement. This, is the part I'm referring to.

I'm not arguing against your point. I think it's perfectly fine, and should even be encouraged, for someone to be able to make a decision from a position of abundance. But that's not the impression I'm getting from this thread. Because it seems like OP is assuming his behaviour to get the attention he's looking for. And that's what I don't agree with.

While I agree with the premise of your claim, I want to disagree with your conclusion. Because, yes, it sucks to express interest in one person and not know if they feel the same way about you. But going around and making yourself unavailable because it seems to gather more of the attention you're craving is, and shouldn't be the final answer. Of course, if your end goal is to simply get into hookups or have your ego stroked by feeling that you're good enough for a slur of girls to be interested…

Not completely true. It just has less of an importance in their final evaluation as compared to guys.

"You can't change a man who doesn't want to change himself." I think what's different here is that the dude above wanted change, whereas most of these other guys don't.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
