Most people define the boundaries of their society by their own kinfolk. Not the entire planet.

Why should we care about humans overall as one big group ? Humans are tribal, and are supposed to largely care about our tribe. Most other humans don't extend their own mental remit to those who don't care for them or purposefully wish us ill.

Some insightful commentary from Diane "Fuck Whitey" Abbott. Didn't think you had it in you, Diane. The Week should be good. "Right-leaning" more like "Wrong leaning".

Then I see these moms filling the baby-daddys void by having this gross social media relationship with their sons I just read an article about this http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/feb/02/facebook-motherhood-challenge

I saw the thing he did about Russia. It was so cringeworthy.

I suspect the long sentence is because the men were all black. White women are deemed to need protection from men from different tribes. This sentence serves as a deterrent to others thinking of doing the same thing. Of course this won't be the official reason but the unspoken one.

Thing is you'll find yourself getting downvoted if you ever post in a default or largeish sub, and you might not know why. You might well persevere, but others will lose faith and quit posting/contributing. Neutral observers won't understand and will only see a downvoted comment, and assume 'the community' disagrees, as opposed to a select group of determined leftists harassers.

Lots of good stuff here. Also liberal democracies generally have a generous welfare safety net and thus make it less reliant on men to raise kids/have families, because they can already obtain free housing/money/food/healthcare from the government.

There was a good discussion on this issue on /r/ukpolitics the other day. I feel for the guy, especially when I understand the outrage was all coordinated by bored and insecure Twitter feminists.

Haha love this car analogy. What about a dog? If you get a 10 year old greyhound, it has already bonded with 4 previous owners so whether it will fully bonded with you is uncertain. However get the dog as a puppy and you will be everything to the dog.

Very, very easy to denounce 'sexism' and 'gender stereotypes' when you have made your fortune off the back of your looks. It's a have-your-cake-and-eat-it situation. Get all the fame, money and power mainly through your looks, then turn around and one-up all those actresses who don't 'call out sexism' and 'do your bit'. It's like Raising Awareness, all the benefits of helping people and feeling great, but none of the ensuing criticism or dealing with difficult questions. Win-win. Other similar b…

I'm not a regular or even occasional contributor to TRP, I just find it it delicious that any time some 'feminist drama' comes up in the MSM somewhere, I just know other elements of reddit (SRS, SRD) lurk TRP to see what people are saying about it. TRP is the sub that reddit loves to hate.

Not taking any particular side but the definition of the term Domestic Abuse has widened significantly in the last 20 years and now includes things like 'ignoring' or 'teasing' or 'refusing money'. It's why I always ignore domestic abuse statistics.

It's like saying, what's better, wood or aluminium? Depends on the application - different materials for different tasks.

You could do what a lot of men are doing, and going for women from countries where feminism hasn't take root yet. Russia, East Europe, Asia. I do wonder what the long term consequences of this will be.

Long time lurker first time poster. Farage is a highly intelligent, charismatic politician whom I have a lot of respect for. He's an ex-stockbroker and highly successful businessman, which in our current political climate of cardboard cutout career politicians, makes him a kind of anti politician. I think he's a real breath of fresh air, and has re-invigorated the whole scene and he is currently setting the mainstream political agenda.

Came here from Popcorn stand. How many subs have SRS taken over? So far I've noticed Subredditdrama had become very SRS in the last year. They also use IRC or coordinate downvotes and generally buddy up outside the eyes of the rest of reddit.
