Wow, chill tf out. I'm not saying false accusations don't happen, but there's definitely a much longer and unfair history of victims' rapists getting off with slaps on the wrist compared to what this woman got. Her punishment is well deserved, but the fact is justice rarely comes the victims in cases where an assault has actually occured.

While I'm happy justice recognized a false accuser, there are still tons of rape cases in which the offender only gets 1-2 years, or even months before they're allowed probation... we've still got a ways to go.

That makes a lot more sense. I honestly fear for GenZ feminism... I once heard a girl say that if a girl played Truth or Dare and was dared to kiss someone even if she didn't want to, that it was equivalent to rape. I couldn't believe how deluded she was.

I suppose they meant that men, in opposition to a man who exhibits toxic masculinity, would be white knights. Idk if this the accepted "urbandictionary" definition of a White Knight... I'm just a millennial, trying to seem current to today's reddit termin…

If only rapists' sentences were this long too. Rapists ruin people's lives just like false claims do (in different capacities, but still in very negative affects). She totally deserves this, though.

I suppose I should have lead with "what's a 'White Knight'?" Lol. I agree, that's wrong. I think I was confused because I've heard/seen different definitions of a "White Knight" (some positive, some negative) but I was curious at to why they were so bad as to be considered scum.

Why are "white knights" scum? Genuine question.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
