a healthy relationship is one where the masculine and feminine roles are respected and recognized by the man and woman. if the wife isn't afraid of the man leaving, then she does not respect him and his ability to leave for greener pastures. This is either due to arrogance and ignorance, or the man ceasing to be attractive to other women (and the wife). That doubt keeps the woman accountable to the man. Your ideal scenario leads to cheating or a dead bedroom 99% of the time

sure, if the man and the woman both work they should each do their fare share. Though in a healthy relationship, the woman should want to do that work for the house, because she was raised to learn how and because she wants to keep the man around. For a SAHM or a wife who works from home, she should be expected to do the household chores.
