Hm, that could also be taken as doing it out of politeness. Kind of like how you weren’t sure if the guy was interested despite all the signals from his end, it’s the same with us guys and we end up thinking, maybe she was just being polite, lol. Communication and clear signals from the girl will definitely help the guy lead things along if he’s interested :) Btw, saying “thank you for the date” was a good move on your end. Definitely lets him know you were thinking about it as a date as opposed…

Hope it helps! If anything, double texting will definitely convey that you’re interested in keeping the conversation going

Sounds like he’s interested and he did his best to convey it to you. On the other hand, did you engage with his approaches and let him know that you’re interested as well? (Feedback such as, yeah let’s go!, that’d be really fun, etc). That last message with the sticker didn’t really help carry the conversation along. The sticker definitely help soften it so that he doesn’t think you’re replying out of politeness, but it doesn’t give him something to comment on. May be good to think where your re…

Seems like she doesn’t feel like she was accepted for who she is? Can’t say, but don’t focus too much on this one instance and keep moving forward :)

Sounds like a managing expectations issue. You established a tone while communicating and then in person expected something different while she kept it business as usual. It’s good that you communicated and got on the same page. You won’t know what she’s really like until getting to know her better. It’s good that she listened to and respected your point of view after you brought it up. As for it feeling slow now, she might have felt judged and now is second guessing how she says things. The bal…

From my experience, your approach in Japan should be based on what you're looking for. Looking for a serious relationship? Bring your Japanese A-game and speak naturally. Looking for something not so serious? Using your native language a lot works, and you can easily make inside jokes and kino like that. You're not using Japanese as much, maybe making it seem as if you're not really that capable in it, but can use it to make jokes and catchphrases. Some Japanese girls may not write much, but it …

If you have boyish looks you could try for an unshaven look. Dressing well is fine, as long as it's appropriate for the situation. You might have some girls assume you're a player because of your looks/approach style. To be honest though, it might just be something with your approach or vibe that you give off since you mention that you get IOI's but it seems to go downhill once you initiate interaction.

Unless you broke up amicably (and even if so) you must consider that you would be jeopardizing their friendship. Breaking up with your gf, then utilizing her to get your next piece of ass while consciously being aware that this will cause your ex even more distress shows a huge lack of concern for her. This may be something the friend picks up on as well.

Best advice here. Good to show people that this subreddit is really about improving oneself.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
