A lot of lapses in frame are Knee jerk, emotional reactions to a given stimulus: The meditation allows you to live in the present, take in the stimulus, process it, and allow you to respond. For instance: My supervisor gets off on laying into people for nonsense. He comes up to me yesterday and says some bullshit along the lines off "So you think it's okay to just [Insignifacnt thing]". Old me would've knee jerk reacted with arguing my defense (Well, it didn't seem that important...), and the mo…

I'm interested. What would you say has changed, and what would you say has remained the same?

Hmm Different strokes for different folks i suppose. Normally i'd stay stick with it, and see where it takes you, but it sounds like you've done that and it hasn't really gotten you any progres. Try posting this on /r/meditation, i'd be interested to see what their take on this is, and perhaps you can still find some sort of benefit to it. Good Luck!

Never been a sporty person (all i've ever done is lift and run), but you know what, it's worth a shot. I'll get better at the games as time progress How would i go about finding one of these leagues?

I felt a bit distanced and withdrawn at first, i'd agree with that, but of course ymmv. Honestly, i'd say keep pushing through it, there may be something deep in your subconcious that needs to come to light. If you don't mind me prodding, What were your meditation sessions like?

Tldr: I practice mindfulness, it's fairly straightfoward: Set a timer, Close your eyes, straighten your spine and concentrate on your breath, when your mind inevtably wanders, bring it back to your breath. I started at about two ten minute sessions a day, i now do an 90+ minutes a day, and can sit for over an hour! It took about two weeks for me to see solid beneifts (improved mood, less anxious/depressed) Life Story: I had a girl break my heart late last year and i was legit gonna kill myself (…

feel lonely at times You know, the red pill has also made me quite lonely. I find it hard to make "Masculine" friends, cus it seems like the only thing my male peers wanna do is get drunk and high and play video games. God forbid i suggest perhaps going to the beach, or canoeing, or the gym, or literally anything where you may have to challenge yourself and meet new people. So i distract myself with hobbies: Lifting, playing guitar, meditating, learning a language, etc

I will preach meditation from the highest rooftops. Changed my life one hundred percent: Improved mood, improved anxiety, improved outlook, improved social skills. I would honestly put meditating above lifting in terms of priority self improvement (Though you should still fucking lift), because at some point in the meditation you'll probably come to the conclusion that you need to lift anyways.

I really like the "When you feelings change, let me know" I wish i'd said that, but hey, live and learn. Yeah, i'm moving forward at this point. It bothered me for all of an hour, but whatever, life goes on Hey man, thanks! Good shit.

Yeah, that's what i figured. If it is possible to pull this girl, the time, effort, and stress wouldn't be worth it. Even tho the ass is fat

I've been in and out of therapy since i was a kiddo (Bad upbringing) I'm also not 100% RP yet, still very much a work in progress (In terms of social skills) So take what i say with a grain of salt, and of course, your mileage may vary. That being said, I highly recommend it, provided that A. You're prepared to be honest with yourself, and with your therapist. and B. You genuinely want to find out what's going on, and fix it. What usually happens: Depends, there are several types of approaches t…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
