Have one girl in the book club. Already went out with her. Already friendzoned (most probably). You are right though.. How do you do it in your city ?

What to do if I'm the invisible guy? I have a healthy BMI squarely in the middle but I have low muscle mass compared to gym buffs. 65 kg at 5'9". I'm older (41) but look all right due to lean body. I'm a gym newbie. I have a trainer from 3 months. I dress about average and don't drive a fancy car (I do have one but prefer not to show off). Girls do not even look in my direction apart from the few getting trained by the same trainer and I've said hi to. It feels awkward saying hi to someone not e…

Wait, did you just send a word "quickie" as the first text and it worked ? Or did you have some conversation first ?

But I don't go to a concert everyday. Plus they don't happen in my city. I travel 1000km+ to attend a concert. It's very easy to approach, open and even set dates in an interesting city , especially as a tourist. But for us mere mortals, living in a dead city like Patna, such events happen once every 5 years. Not that cold approach is easy here. What should we do ? Is the only good option to move to another city ?

There is a difference between showing too much interest (genuine interest) which is a turn off and love bombing (fake interest). Love bombing involves mirroring. Most narcs know about almost every topic superficially. So they feign interest but not enough to trigger an alarm. They will also motivate the person to do what they want to do even though it may be terrible for them. And if that benefits the narc, even better. A genuine person would be blunt and care and tell the pros and cons. This is…

Agree with that too. I also said I'm not filtering based on love bombing. I even said it's near impossible to detect emotional unavailabity especially in the beginning, unless you have prior experience / training and even then it's tough.

NPD is extremely rare. NPD traits and avoidant attachment is common especially as you age. Now, filtering for charm/rizz gives you an even higher probability of meeting these emotionally unavailable but confident folks. One still can't filter/avoid them completely because it's damn difficult to detect when they're love bombing. So I'm not doing that. I've seen first hand, how magnetic they are, for girls. Girls will say they want someone consistent but ultimately choose these people. Try getting…

Males love female... And to be honest, it was a joke. These are honest substitutions anyone makes while typing. No one is trying to win any literary award on reddit.

Grammar nazi. You made a mistake here. 🧐

Grammar nazi 😁 Point taken. For the record I even used girls. Also "women biology" does not sound idiomatic. I did use males in my next comment (and if you look closely even in the same comment) though. 🤔🧐😂 You yourself said "men love female narcs". See your comment. Like, what !!

Narcissism (NPD )is more prevelant in males. It's a well known fact. I really don't understand the passive agressive comment.

I'll disagree. For men, confidence (rizz) that comes with having had many partners isn't exactly attractive. Narcs/avoidants have zero/near zero emotional investment and therefore have more partners and its a self-driven cycle. Female biology highly rewards preselection. Also narcs are more in leadership roles. Again males don't care about leadership while females do. Also more men are narcs than females.

Narcs do not want peace. They want the opposite of peace. They want drama. And girls love them. Narcs have charm and a lot of chances to be classified as top tier.

You'll need to ask the man himself. Also, simply because he's classified top tier (by the superficial standards you just spoke about), doesn't mean he will be emotionally good. Narcs and avoidants rate the highest in the charm category. They want you to be just perfect, have zero needs and its their way or the highway. Careful what you wish for.

She's testing boundaries. Possibly a narc. Please be careful. Just don't get into her frame. Don't answer her question. Be straight up rude. "Hey, unless you're dtf, I don't think we can continue. Tschuss." If she replies anything after this, just set a time to do the deed and just use her for keeping your confidence up while you find someone actually worth your time. Once you find someone, do make sure you don't get attached to this one.

Most of reddit is India. India has different rules than South America. We have a heavily skewed gender ratio.

Depends on how tough this job was. If it was something which takes 15 minutes to do, I think you took it too far. You should have stopped once she went on backfoot. Saying "I am doing you a favor" out loud is counting it. Was not required. But if it took say an hour to do, that is totally uncalled for. If she can find another person to do that much work again, while wasting your time, she better say sorry next time. For minor shit, just let bygones be bygones.

It is a journey. From "The Game" to "The Truth" (both excellent books by Neil Strauss) to "therapy". Once we realize, we do not crave variety but validation, we kind of accept monogamy a teeny tiny bit more. It's a compromise in any case. You can choose to be with no kids and lonely as hell at 40. Or you can grab the best you can and commit and hope she is the one percent exception who is secure. Else keep dating and you will anyway be following serial monogamy. If you find a secure partner who …

Arrange your logistics in advance next time. Like you should have an option that you've thought of in advance. Airbnb to the rescue. Visit in advance to understand first. Will help you relax, if not anything else.

Man here. Keep it simple. Ask a question. Say thank you with a smile. If you can gather the nerves, give a compliment. This should be enough. If you can convert, ask him out directly. Hey, do you want to do x this Friday ? Tell him you're introverted at the earliest.

Don't think so. I can barely move for the love of my life. Even with a trainer, I'm pathetic. I've gotten one drunk girl even paying me any attention in about 20 times I've gone to a nightclub. I generally go just to enjoy myself rather than score since I know I have little to zero chance anyway. Girls generally get repelled. Even if I have the confidence to ask one to dance with me and she agrees, she does not want to be seen with the bad dancer. So she will politely excuse herself. You need to…

Exact same situation. I'm 41 and most females on the street appear to be in their 20s. Really hard to figure out the age and then also opener at the same time in three seconds.

Read "the truth" by Neil Strauss Get therapy. Google "anxious attachment" , "avoidant attachment" DM me. I've gone through what you're going through. I'm a nerd who read the game.
