6	I've experienced gaslighting in a relationship. Secretly recording conversations was the only way out. I had an abusive ex that used to get drunk and aggressive. One time she got mad and decided to walk home, cursing me out while I tried to get her back in the car. I filmed the whole thing and showed it to her and she was absolutely furious....that I had filmed her without permission. No apology about her behavior or anything.
