If some one identifies as spiritual, religious... whatever and it gives them strength we should be for it. Even if what they believe in is bullshit and holds no relationship to reality but makes them a better version of themselves be happy for them. He is just excited and wants to help others. You were too harsh.

Are we pretending being tall is not valued as a masculine trait? This sub is about providing blunt truths. I feel like i'm in r/sex reading about another insecure guy with a "does size matter post." of course it matters. It's not the whole picture but to ignore biological attraction sounds like some feel good bullshit.

I don't know... I lost my job a while back and took it very hard. I came home to a extremely supportive girlfriend who instantly jumped me and fucked my brains out. And this is not the only example. I would feel bad for them and assuage their heaviness by comforting them. Not only would that cause them to lose respect for me, but they would have zero appreciation for my gesture. Really... I don't understand. Why would that cause such a reaction?
