Women age better than men. Society allows men to age. READ IT BACK. Men age ugly af but we’re not trained to criticize men. There are ugly, old, fat neck men all over television and movies. Meanwhile if you want to be a woman who’s older on television/movies you need to be: Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Connie Britton — they’re absolutely impeccably perfect but are still criticized for their age.

If it isn’t a “fuck yes!” it’s a no. Applies to everything - dates, friends, plans, work… Also any confusion if it qualifies as “f yes”, it’s a no.

The irony how many women choose men as emotional support animals, only for that low value man to destroy their life

Not only does he like the video… but he saved it as some of his favorite content that it was cherished enough to him to share it with you 🤢 and for all your actually perfect communicating, he refuses to hear

In the book “defining decade” she outlines how moving in with a boyfriend is a transition, not a transformation. There’s no “step” happening. There’s no commitment happening. It doesn’t lead you closer to marriage. It makes it harder to break up, and likely will result in a starter marriage (coupled with a starter divorce $).

If you’ve already decided you don’t want to see him, and you give him a list of everything you’re looking for & where he fell short = that’s a clap back, not worth your energy. And worse, it likely tees him up to be a better predator to the next woman.

I often wonder if pop culture (produced by the patriarchy) does everything they can to keep this blatant truth out of media: that men will do anything to string you along.

Men don’t age better, they’re just ALLOWED to age.

The woman’s image is extremely photoshopped. You can tell because blurry on both edges of her torso for editing her to be half disappeared. You can also tell because, humans need a certain amount of torso to have lungs and internal organs etc. Eff photoshop, the whole world thinks this image is realistic

“Relatively successful, decent looking family man” LOL. He expects “perfection” and knows his best self-description is mediocre

“They ‘love’ what the woman does for them” Every male IG anniversary/ birthday captions… “I love our adventures” “I love our empire” “I love how you’re there for me” “I love how you look at me” … it’s the THINGS they love about the relationship and hardly ever about the woman. It took me a while to figure out why I hated one boyfriend saying in all his cards “I love all our adventures” and it’s cause it was about the adventure, not me. It took dating me for him to live his best life, and that’s …

‘LVM will always talk about all the other “non-materialistic” ways they can show love, but watch these assholes NEVER actually do any of that.’ Fixing things, taking out the trash, vacuuming… why are all of these EASY, FREE acts of good service a fight with LVM? I’m incredibly handy. I grew up doing many home projects with my incredibly handy dad. Now, as a woman who owns her own home doing a lot of DIY and chores in general, I get comments all the time: “I can’t believe you did that yourself” “…

It’s basically the script of all insecurities: deflect & accept no responsibility!!!! Sadly, most people will accept the 0%-100% culpability story from their friends too.

I am SO sorry!!!! And YES to your whole last paragraph- every institution was made by men, for men, to protect the interests of men. We’re slowly building a more equal world, but in addition to HIM screwing you, the court system SCREWED you to not make it even remotely fair. I am so sorry & thank you for sharing your insight 💕

What’s so sad is they could also reflect: what I’m doing isn’t working, maybe I should be a nice man to attract women. But they don’t.

Reddit, Twitter & the internet overall are all so male-driven. Most content we’re going to see online (that isn’t on FDS) is posted by + upvoted by LVM. And then with internet popularity, it continues to embolden the LVM standards.

I recently read “how to spot a dangerous man before getting involved”, the whole book was fascinating. (It’s on the FDS recommended list too). What I can’t stop thinking about though is that there is no ‘how to spot a dangerous woman’ book and never will be… because it’s MEN who are DANGEROUS

There was an FDS post a while ago: men’s lives always get better from a relationship. They get a significant other, a maid, a cook, a therapist and sex. Compared to women entering a relationship, there’s many more risks a man isn’t mature (or even harmful) and we’re often exiting the relationship way worse than when we entered.

Reddit is so male-dominated, terrible content like this gets promoted all the time. (Or on the flip side, level-headed women get roasted). This post honestly makes me wonder if a man posted it.

I’m a 6’ woman and every time I’ve given a short guy a chance I regret it. They’re rude to ME because they’re insecure about their own height. I wish it wasn’t that way because I have no problem with the height difference, but I do have a problem with knowing there’s a 90%+ chance they’re going to be rude eventually about my height

If men really were visual creatures they’d be known for dressing well, having beautiful apartments/homes, and shiny clean bathrooms.
