That's exactly the same thing I'm doing now, love will happen that way. It happens when you are not looking for it and then BAM suddenly it's there. Seriously the best game is no game, you'll find it, I'm sure of it. Maybe you'll bump into her when you visit the dinosaur museum ;)

I had a similar experience, I was in a club this dude tried to make a move, he just straight up asked in a rude voice "Well what's your name then?" in which she replied "HOW ABOUT YOUR NAME?" jokingly with her friend. okay, well my thought is that you are thinking to much about this, therefor your smile isn't genuine, try not to think about it to much and just do it? Use those feelings where you are talking about in the moment and use it to put up a genuine smile. Also if you feel confident, that will resonate in a confident smile!
