By being a member of men's rights are you for or against sexism?

I'm not saying the kid is being violent nor am I punishing anybody. I think it is ridiculous for a child to be suspended for something like this. I think you need to look further into this and really question what the hell is going on. He isn't being discriminated against for being a male. It's really quite black and white if you think about it.

Is being a parent known as being violent? This kid wasn't suspended for pretending to play daddy.

You're absolutely correct. I believe there is a lot of sexism towards men (just as there is a lot of sexism toward women) but this sub seems to be almost making up problems which is a damn shame if you ask me. This subject just isn't sexist. Whether a guy or a girl does it, the same outcome would happen. It's also not something that happened because the child was a male. People are arguing that this is predominantly male behavior and therefore because it happened it is sexist. That doesn't reall…

It's hardly about men's rights though is it. If a female did this she would experience the same repercussions. This topic is more of a 'child gets suspended for imitating a gun' thing.

Perhaps this can be a learning experience for you then, and maybe you can be less critical of other movements.

Can you not see how hypocritical that is? Men's rights as you are portraying it is equally toxic as all of these things - though I have seen way more hate come from this subreddit than I have ever heard of come from feminism. You need to sit back and examine the human race. People vary so much you can't base all your experience and opinion on an entire cause or religion solely from a single person's opinion. What religion do you have? Or are you atheist? Either way there are an abundance of peop…

" I’d like to make it the objective for the remainder of this month, and all the Octobers that follow, for men who are being attacked and physically abused by women – to beat the living shit out of them. I don’t mean subdue them, or deliver an open handed pop on the face to get them to settle down. I mean literally to grab them by the hair and smack their face against the wall till the smugness of beating on someone because you know they won’t fight back drains from their nose with a few million…

I know exactly what equality is, thank you. Perhaps you should do some research on feminism before replying. Do you believe all Muslims are bad because of the extremists?

Basing feminism on one person's believe is like basing any minority because of a bad thing one member did. I'd love to see the day this subreddit stops circlejerking this "man vs. woman" bullshit. Real feminists care about equality. It's starting to look like the members of this sub are behaving exactly like the feminists they're criticizing. I don't care if I get downvoted, a lot of you need to realise this.

They are the reason my mum is alive today. She grep up extremely poor as a child and they were incredible to her family.

I'm not saying your friend raped the girl, but those text messages don't mean he didn't.

No doctor (unless you went to a specialist) will be able to create a foreskin for you.. However it does sound like you're actually experiencing unusual problems that are something outside of the fact you were circumcised. I'm sorry, but what you are "missing out on" is masturbation without some kind of lube. I understand that you may be furious and sad about it - but dude.. I'd REALLY recommend sex. There is no acceptable amount of non-consensual genital cutting. In your opinion.

Didn't you say that you were circumcised? Whether you are intact or circumcised doesn't change what I'm saying. I sure did say that. When you clip your fingernails are your fingers no longer intact? Is it OK to hurt babies with impunity before they are able to retain memories? (usually 3yo) Is it OK to harm people as long as you are sure they won't remember it? Not if it's to hurt the baby or for personal gratification, no. What would you say if I decided to drug you and fuck you up the arse? I'…

I like my body. I like the idea of being human. I like the idea of being natural But that once again fits under the lack of consent category. You aren't living the way nature intended it. I can tell this by the fact you are sitting down at your computer having an intellectual debate about foreskin removal. I don't know you personally so I can't say this for sure, but I think it's a reasonable presumption to state that you are not naked in a forest consuming only meat, nuts and water. Potential -…

If the foreskin is a functional organ, which it is I think you'll find that it actually isn't. It is a part of the epidermis (skin) which is an organ, but it in itself isn't. then lacking its functions is a long-term negative sequel ... Sequel? How would you be able to recognise something that is anomalous? Exactly how many penises besides your own have you seen up close? Your earlier question was in regards to - or at least phrased this way - whether I would notice lasting effects due to my lac…

it has caused me difficulty and discomfort throughout my life. I think I can see your entire POV now. If you are actually experiencing problems such as you mentioned, you should probably see a doctor.. I have heard about a case where a man was circumcised too far by a shitty doctor.

After all, most men that are allowed to grow up with an intact penis do not wish to be circumcised. FYI - my penis is intact. Thanks. It is excruciatingly painful Were you conscious and without anesthetic when you has this procedure done in your recent history? degrades the function of the penis in many ways My girlfriend begged to differ. Also, 1. What ways? and 2. Do you have a reliable source for that information? can lead to short and long-term complications, including death as well as other…

What can you say to me, who regrets that decision I can ask you why you regret that decision. Why is it, other than your lack of consent, that you want a foreskin? You don't always get to make the choices you want to make, but you do get to make choices. Would you say it's worse choosing not to do something and then having to do it anyway? Or would you say it's worse to be completely oblivious in the first place? An extreme example - you would agree it would be wrong for parents to be able to se…

I imagine that, for the majority of men in this world (who aren't cut), the 'decision' never even enters their minds, because it's not something that's done. People don't agonize about getting other body parts removed. At the same token, I have never agonised about getting a foreskin. I've never even thought about it in fact. How should your children be expected to love and respect their own bodies if you don't? What if it is a prevention of the multiple issues that can occur? Not to say that un…

Do you believe that you have any lasting effects from being circumcised? No, I don't (other than a lack of foreskin) Would you be able to recognise them as such if you did? Yes I would, otherwise I'm not actually affected by them. You're ignoring the major difference here - FGM involves the removal of the clitorus. The male equivalent of which, being the knob of the penis - not the foreskin. The foreskin is arguably more functional than all of the external female genitalia Can you please provide…

I am saying that if OP has not been circumcised then he can't empathise with someone who has. I am glad my parents did choose for me to get it done while I was still a baby, otherwise I would be faced with a difficult choice as to whether to get it done now that I am fully grown, aware of the operation and know of pain. Something important in life we all need to understand is that we can only deal with the cards we're dealt with. I don't mean to say that in a negative way, it can also be positiv…

FGM is much more violent and will typically be executed between the ages of 4 and puberty - an age of awareness and a memory that will stick to them for life. What makes you different from them? The operation was performed with sterile, surgical equipment. It provided / provides no detriment to my future. Much quicker, smaller, cleaner operation. Happened before conscious awareness. I have no memory of it. The equivalent would be to cut off my knob, tighten up my urethra and make some cosmetic c…

As a circumcised man, my parents are both not religious. They are also loving, and don't wish me harm. When I was born, they decided to have me circumcised. I don't see any problem with that fact whatsoever. In fact, I prefer it this way. It's like saying that babies shouldn't have 'innie' belly buttons. Are you circumcised? I ask this because otherwise it would seem strange to advocate what you are doing without empathy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
