The logic here is that because most rape victims are women, male victims are a minority that doesn't rate dedicated services or real support: "the world doesn't owe you the exception." The logic in your comment is "majority of rape victims are women, so male victims are the exception the world doesn't owe special services or real sympathy for." Apply that same rule evenly and it falls apart fast. Male victims of rape and sexual violence are a clear minority in the data (women make up the large majority under standard CDC NISVS definitions). See, what I don't understand is what those in power of such nonsense are playing at.
