1	Is higher education really this bad nowadays? I agree with that criminal justice degree! But yeah D.C starts at 65k a year, my county will give a pay raise to start if you have a bachelors and military experience. 8	Is higher education really this bad nowadays? I’m at a community college for criminal justice so it can help me get hired as a cop. I plan on joining the Marine Corp reserves and majoring in Psych at a state school which if I just grind my ass off I can be done in a year, is it a risk? Perhaps, but I live in the DMV (Dc, Maryland & Virginia) there’s a lot of police departments in my area that will start out making 60-70k a year.
