I find this to be very true. When I first meet new people (at a new job, new friends) I usually get along with everyone. But the longer I know certain people, the more I learn about them, the more I dislike them. And it gets to the point where I don't like a lot of people. I also think there is a big difference between not liking someone and still being civil. I work with a lot of people I don't like, but I can still communicate with them and deal with them.
