Okay so I love the lack of context. Korea is extremely harsh expectations on appearances, especially for women. If you are not beautiful, then you will have a very hard time marrying a man. They aren’t doing this for shits and giggles, its their incredibly cruel culture. And the caption is total shit.

what is this even proving
/r/AntiFeminists15/03/22 04:33 AM

it doesn’t even say anything about feminism, it intentionally doesn’t mention either gender so it can go either way.

This post is all over the place what is the point of it

comparing two injuries is fucking stupid, even if they are similar. a broken arm and a dislocated elbow both fucking suck. does not mean we need to determine which one is more painful

no i was just saying comparing it to childbirth is stupid

a lot of of the time, it’s a reaction of “holy shit that had to have hurt so damn bad”.

i’m really not sure if i believe that, but let’s say it is. women can have spinal fluid drain out of their spine, got torn open, get their hips broken, possibly a c-section, and a lot of women unfortunately die when giving birth. i know getting hit in the nuts hurt, but most of the time it doesn’t cause any of those.

this whole thread is…weird. i’m not a feminist, but you guys take everything so personally. they haven’t really “been quiet”, we are all hoping Ukraine survives this. i don’t know where you’re getting that from. men can be toxic and girls can also get their clitoris cut off, and they are both bad. we should fix both of those. also, why would anyone want to be drafted?? not wanting to be drafted just makes you normal.

Ugh i hate those types of books/movies, to either gender. It’s so pointless and makes it all seem so plastic and fake.

What in the world makes you think that a realistic feminist(not a KAM feminist, i have the same feelings towards them that you probably do) don’t care about men in the wars? Those are our sons and brothers and husbands. And I understand what you’re saying about the problems in the west not being as bad as others, but they are still problems. There’s always going to be someone who has it better, and someone who has it worse. But there’s no point in trying to one up each other, when we all agree t…

yes i agree, i’m sorry you worded it much better. thank you for being respectful too, i was worried i was going to be totally shit on.

I’m sorry what the hell does feminism have to do with the war? I’m not even a feminist and this post is stupid. Everyone honors our fallen soldiers, and everyone contributed to wars such as WWII. Them getting promoted before you is literally just that. They got promoted before you. And since this entire post is just whiny excuses, I would take a gamble that they got promoted before you because they were better workers. Also, those white women in the west DO talk about women who don’t have it as …

this post is stupid and the meme is stupid. don’t be a shithead, and that takes care of like half of those problems.

guys do a lot without getting held accountable too. the whole “if the roles were reversed” very rarely is helpful.

for the most part i strongly disagree with modern feminism, but growing up as a girl i did experience “boys will be boys” as an excuse for them being mean and rude to girls. but i see where you’re coming from and i now think you’re right! i still think my original comment is still partially true, but i also agree with you. thank you for a good discussion instead of trying to belittle me:)

okay you all are doing a really good job of being assholes. she is talking about how often women are sexualized and how often women get harassed/assaulted/raped.
/r/AntiFeminists12/06/21 04:14 AM

that’s horrible! i’m really sorry that happened. it’s awful when both genders do it, but it’s more common for men to do it. not all of them! but unfortunately it is more common. but it’s not men v women, it’s good v bad. there are good men and good women, bad men and bad women.

do not put words in my mouth. i am saying that there are more girls who are assaulted, physically or sexually, and it is not okay. do not try to twist my words around to fit your idea, and do not attempt to make me sound crazy. KAM is the worst movement ever, but i do also think that more women than men are hurt. if that makes me a crazy feminist, then so be it.

it’s not gendering, it’s statistics. if you’re that convinced that women have a free pass to do what they like in life with no worry, i’m happy you aren’t a women because you would be dead by now.

i could make more than 39 about the benefits of being a man, including being able to go on walks at night and getting the proper pain medication at the doctors office.

i agree with this statement, any girl who doesn’t is being sexist. moving on.

anti feminists make sure you know that they don’t hate women, but they also make tasteless sexist jokes and call it funny. do better.

most of the people who are killing the men, are also men. it’s not men verses women, it’s good people against bad people. and it’s gendered, because a large majority happens FROM one gender. a lot of the time, it’s men. the recipient is also sometimes a man, which isn’t any better.
/r/AntiFeminists12/06/21 03:23 AM

that’s really messed up and i definitely think she should get punished for it. “but what if the roles were reversed” yes i know i get it, it’s bad no matter what gender does it. stop turning it into a war when we all know it’s bad. we are all fighting the same issue

excuse me what? you can not be saying that when it comes to sexual assault or rape, women have it easier. some men do get sexually assaulted or rape, i know! it’s awful! but the percentage is VERY much lower than women’s. please don’t say this again, it’s embarrassing.

it’s just pronouns, it’s not that big of a deal.

nonono. girls are taught when we are little, “oh he bullies you because he has a crush on you.” boy siblings will fight and wrestle each other, and it’s perfectly fine. but when girls do the same with their male siblings, it is VERY different. it’s inappropriate and unladylike. boys will be boys is sometimes used to excuse boys bad behavior, because they just “mature slower.”

he is assuming the women are too immature to regulate their conversations and keep them positive. i understand both sides, but it is hard to see it from a girls side unless you’re a girl. we are automatically assumed to just talk shit all the time, but that’s not the case.

sorry i had to hope in on this. those two are still attractive because they get a LOT of work done. very rarely does a women age normally and is not bashed for not trying to keep looking young. when men grow old and aren’t as good looking, it’s normal. when women grow old and the same thing happens, the reaction is never the same.

i think feminism is about feeling comfortable enough to either go with the “beauty standards” and wear makeup, or not wear any. they say it’s about feeling comfortable enough to go either way(but modern day feminists have horribly screwed up what feminism means, as we all know). and i do agree, the context in the way you give your messages is very important, but calling her a fucking whore for wearing makeup isn’t the move.

ehhh i don’t know about that, her makeup looks good, not whoreish, and i don’t think it should deem the rest of the video completely irrelevant. now don’t get me wrong, it’s a stupid video, but commenting on something as unimportant as her makeup is much more stupid

it’s a crime, it should require evidence or else it’s just a he-said she-said debate. That’s how every trial is, you show...evidence. that’s not sexist i don’t understand how they can be so brain dead

our english class talking about Arthur and The Sword in the Stone “if it had been a girl to take the sword out of the stone, it would’ve been so impressive” “Why isn’t impressive that he could?” “He’s a guy.” Not necessarily super feminist, but it did make me scratch my head

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
