in fact where I live just a slim percentage of them are Are girls in the generic middle class divided in this respect? We all know that plenty of women in elite circles are, but what about, say, lower-middle class, working class, and other classes of women? I'd assume the actual proletariat wouldn't give two flying fucks.

Things have always been shit for humans, but it has only been improving so rapidly over the past two decades. Free learning resources and any kind of internet access are Godsend to our society. It doesn't even matter what kind of place you live, I was just saying that social housing in the UK, for example, leaves you stuck with many bad influences, and as a result they won't use the resources out there/won't want to improve.

Yup, defo. What I meant is very cheap but good architecture for a good mental effect. I think people, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, had worse emotional health when living in commie blocks than in less utilitarian designs. Just add some colour to a panelák and you get the point.
