Uh… what? The gym is just the gym. A great place for people (specifically men) to meet other men to hang out with, pursue personal goals, and support each other. This is a great group for support and interaction for men, and most women or “male simps” don’t see it as a right wing incel hate cult lmfao.

My end goal is to be a wealthy career woman for my housewife/husband so they can bake me little treats and play video games/frolic around the city all day. I want my partner to be free of any type of obligation aside from making sure there’s fresh brownies on the table when I get home from work. I was a classically trained musician who gave it up due to a lack of passion and also the fact I like science more (also do not want to be broke), so I’d love a creative who gets to pursue their passion …

If you like playing into male fantasies, go right ahead. I’m not stopping you. I’m merely pointing out how counter intuitive it is. I don’t know how advocating for women to live authentically and not fall into cosmetic, man-made standards like shaving and plastic surgery is “looking good to men here”. Sex work isn’t empowering, it’s exploitative, and the industry is filled with men who will ruin a woman’s future/blackmail her/push her past her limits. Not everyone is cushy onlyfans cam girls. Mo…

Choice feminism is the downfall of society. Encouraging women to do sex work, perpetuating toxic plastic and cosmetic surgeries, and pushing women to abandon their dreams of motherhood for a career all in the name of “slaypussypopgirlpower”. All it does is separate real femininity into a caricature that feeds into male stereotypes anyways. The whole movement is counterintuitive. “I shave because of personal preferences!” “I think women who are homemakers are less than and soooo not girlboss!” “I…

Still haven’t proven your rights to equality aside from the potential you get chosen via US male citizen’s requirement for mandatory conscription. Again, another “if” situation. I never claimed blanket equality. I was merely pointing out how this argument fails to take into account individuals who have paid their dues. I never claimed to support feminism- you can clearly see that based on other comments I’ve made here. I’m a full believer in a meritocracy. Your unwillingness to validate your rig…

I agree. Personally, I just want to be able to live my life, hang out with my family, focus on my passions in science, and not be bothered or harassed. The only time I would be worried about feminism or politics is if the ability to do these things was impeded upon specifically due to my gender. But, I think that’s probably only happened once or twice in the past that I can remember. So like you said, not a huge issue. I do think that in other countries, such as Afghanistan, feminism is a much m…

I learned this irl. I was wondering why I’m moving up so fast at my company compared to some of my coworkers (female) that have been there longer, (I graduated in August, was an intern there for 8 months prior so not totally new), and this is the reason. Women with children just don’t have the time or want to put in long hours or invest too much into work. It’s merely a way to put money on the table. I’m a young, childless gay lady and my ability to pull 10 hr days back to back to back for weeks…

Lots of the red pill guys in this sub are rational, even if I may disagree here and there. Usually have sound arguments and are pretty decent to chat with. This guy consistently utilizes this sub as an emotional dumping ground for unrelated, unresolved issues that he twists around into some half-baked, pseudo-intellectual “gotcha” which, like you said, is a large “woe is me” rant. What did you personally do to deserve your equality? Because by your logic, I deserve equality. I work in manufacturing, specifically industrial meat processing and production. I attended college for free due to high standardized test scores and a high GPA. I hold two degrees in two different STEM fields. I am not legally allowed to be drafted, but if given the opportunity, I’d consider service to the military. So, pray tell, are you a veteran STEM major that got into college based on merit as w…

Dating in the IRL is easy. Maybe I am internally neurotic, but I am a control freak that always has to protect my optics and look like I’m in control and cool and a cucumber 24/7. I hate dating apps. But I do go to many different social outings. I was even in mid-tier sorority or whatever in college. I’m not a social hermit, but I need to practice social conventions better. I’m just sick of the overarching feeling that everyone is in on a joke that I do not understand. It’s just sad. I’m not a “woe is me” motherfucker, but it does suck being friendly and extroverted yet socially awkward at the same time. It’s hard seeing people who have an absolute shit-show of a life, no ideals or plans, no money or future have a good relationship. Even if it’s toxic. They have someone. I keep telling my stability and success will pay off. If it end up alone, I don’t really mind. …

Maybe I do give off a vibe that is unapproachable to men, I have no clue. I try and present myself as friendly and open. I am socially awkward, and I notice when I start talking, men (and women alike) will nod and give a short smile, as if they’re speaking with a toddler that they have no idea what they’re talking about. Lots of “ohhhh yeahh, that’s so cool!!!” In this sanitized tone. I don’t think I’m unapproachable, I think I just need to find a dude who “matches my freak” in terms of my perso…

Damn Unfortunately this is daily life for me. Not extremes or the “worst of it” at all. This is pretty standard behavior for someone who is diagnosed with paranoia or schizophrenia. There are a lot worse things that I’d consider extremes. I’d go out and say most men and women do not want to date someone who struggles with even moderate symptoms of mental illness. Highly dependent on the mental illness for women. Seen guys wanting a “goth bipolar GF” or the trope of mentally ill women being “grippy”. It only works for certain things. Men will think it’s cute that a woman is too anxious to order her food, but they don’t think someone digging open wounds into their skin to be something worth sticking around for. They don’t want someone who has blacked out their windows or covered their vents so people can’t see through them. They don’t want a girl who can’t…

Firstly, it’s just objectively false that men seem more interested in culture, art, history and politics. It’s disheartening that some men still view women as 2-dimensional beings who are only capable of “me shop 😲😲😲 me like new handbag 🤤🤤🤤”. It’s worked fairly well for decades in my religious community. My parents were virgins until each other and they’ve had a loving marriage for 25 years. I said SOMETIMES WOMEN CAN BE MORE THAN MEN, key word SOMETIMES. Not MAJORITY OF THE TIME, or even ALL THE TIME. Women can be agents of misogyny just as men can. Diminishing that is dangerous. There are so many facilitator women who seriously ascribe to power structures that hurt other women (and men who do not fit the masculine, traditional binary). Their misogyny is slightly different in the fact that it is internalized and not outright beneficial to them in the same way male misogyny is, but …

Wasn’t my claim that women perpetuate misogyny as well? That was the point of those stories. OP never mentioned women hating men. They mentioned women viewing men as amorphous blobs or boring, as well as being disgusted by male sexuality. Hate is very different from being bored or grossed out.

Isn’t it common sense that we reject people based on physical attraction most of the time? Both men and women do this and it’s not a crime or moral failing, it’s just how the cookie crumbles. You have to find someone attractive in order to sleep with them. Most of us do, at least. Living together before marriage is taboo in many religious and traditional communities; I was raised that you do not live with someone until you have been joined together in the union of marriage as my parents are Catholic. I am still practicing, so I intend to follow that same belief set. It’s pretty common, if you’re religious at least.

I think it would be great to reform the whole entire institution of divorce court. Men get fucked over too often. I think affirmative action hiring is a shame, as I do not find it fair that my hard work and intelligence is discounted due to someone coming from a specific economic or social standing. In my experience, I either click and stick like glue, or they become my mortal enemy. I feel with neurotypical people it’s always baseline kindness, but at an arm’s length. Like, for example, when around women my own age, it feels as if they all are in on a joke I do not get/understand. It’s much more clear-cut with other autistic people. Mid life crisis applies to both genders? Also, if an age gap is like 25 and 35, that’s a lot different from 18 and 35. I think if a 30-40 year old man is dating a girl who can’t even legally purchase or consume alcohol, that’s a major red flag. Age gaps matter less when you are 25 and up.

Hm. Interesting. I highly doubt you were born like this, so something must be at play. Guess I’m stuck observing from the sidelines, thankful it’s not me but still curious

It’s like the same morbid curiosity of driving past a car accident, to be honest. I’m not entitled a response, I know that. But I genuinely want to know what type of socialization and upbringing leads to this. Especially if you’re older than your mid 20s. It’s not like you grew up on tik tok or Twitter like the current young adults.

What does any of this mean, can you put this into English for those of us who don’t rot in our rooms consuming degenerate media? Like genuinely, I came to this thread out of curiosity and I don’t even know how to approach digesting this comment. You’re what, mid 20s? I’m more curious to hear about you. What was your upbringing? Your insecurities? What exactly led to the development of this internet jargon that you ascribe to? Where did you learn this? What went wrong or happened to impact your d…

Our idea of going out to a fancy restaurant is Olive Garden. My boyfriend usually buys me patterned socks and I in turn but him Pokémon or Baseball cards. It’s really not that hard to be a good partner on a budget/without dropping bands on irrelevant frivolous bullshit. Sorry that you experienced gold diggers or whatever…

A free date is totally fine. One of the best things to do is go for a walk around sunset and watch the colors in the sky change; I find this to be more of a l romantic gesture/intimate than the typical fancy steakhouse/rose covered hotel bathroom situation. A “low effort” date seems like it should be coined as a “hangout” rather than a “date”, because there is a clear difference between wanting to casually spend time together and beginning down the road of something deeper than a friendship. As …

This sub consistently reminds me I’m happier and more fulfilled than 90% of men/women. I’m not the prettiest or the most charming, but at least I have the ability of realization and drive for individual self improvement It’s literally impossible for the posters in the sub to go one minute without spewing sweeping generalizations of the opposite sex. Fundamental problems do apply and I’d argue are important to notice, but the problems that most face in this group are ones I’ve never even remotely…
