Yea I agree. But fortunately it's innocent until proven guilty. Also I've got this sort of rule I live by that usually the absolute truth lies somewhere between the stories of the parties involved and that adding more stories to one side only weights this 'average' closer to their side to a certain point - beyond which it's just people piling on. Therefore the opinion I've come to formulate is that he likely did break the law in some sexual encounter (sounds grey because it is).

It was good. I didn't agree with everything he said -- mostly his generalizations that facilitated his immediate argument. One thing I've always wondered actually (and it was touched on here) is why is the movement even called feminism if it (allegedly) supports men as victims of rape too? Wouldn't egalitarianism be a better term?

It's sad how true this is. I've seen so many guys who were less attractive make 'a move' where a good looking man would be called 'cute' or 'sweet' while the less attractive guy was called 'creepy'.

At my school being female, non-white/non-asian, with a disability is the triple threat. All the humanities classes I had to take (for some god awful reason) were essentially just competitions to see who could belong to the most obvious minority/victimized group. If you couldn't reasonable pass yourself off as part of that group then you had to have a continuous stream of sympathy and or empathy coming out your ass.

I think he leaves the cultures topic open to you the reader as he has limited space of writing. This isn't a legal essay - it's an opinion, I have a hard time believing you can't imagine a very primitive culture where this kind of behaviour is the norm.

How dare that cyclist not come to a full stop at that quiet suburban intersection. This town is beyond reproach. Not to mention she was pregnant AND going to vote? Insta-trigger for me. The other day I was inspired by this young woman. My university's gym has women's only hours. I find this form of gym rape completely disgusting so I'm going to carry around dumbbells until the gym is no longer allowed at school. It's going to be my master's of science thesis.

I think this is why I notice older 20's or 30 somethings are much more liberal in their sexual lives. They're starting to realize they're not a pretty little flower anymore and that they're BA in political science isn't going to hold them to retirement. So they get a little friskier to contend with the hot 21 year olds. (IMO).

Preach. I think (generalizing here) a lot of it comes from the attention they receive when they're young and attractive. They develop this ego like their vagina is some poker chip to be exchanged for kids. It's even worse in places like China these days where that's literally all the woman's life is - live off dad's paycheque until early 20's, dress up and look pretty until some wealthy guy comes along, marry him, get kids and suck him dry like a parasite.
