No, I’m not doing your work for you. If you want to make a claim and validate it with data, then bring the data here. If you don’t want to show any data backing your claim, then you shouldn’t have replied to me in the first place. Perhaps if you stopped being ‘that guy who always wants to argue’ for 20 seconds, you would have noticed that I don’t even have a stance on whatever you keep writing about. My only point was that someone made a claim without evidence... and you thought it would be good…

So in this scenario they are using quotes because the group calls themselves the 'alt-right' EXACTLY. The media aren't the ones who are giving them the alt-right tag. The group themselves have done that. I don't see how this hasn't sunken in yet.

They are blatantly calling him alt-right it's in quotes because it's a buzzword. Not sure you have understood my, or the articles point here. He associates with a group who call themselves alt-right. The quotes are used to indicate that this is what they call themselves.

Thanks for such a detailed reply. I appreciate the effort you have gone to here. Your first example (Polygon) appears to only use the term "alt-right" (in quotes) as a reference to the fact that Hyde associates with a group who refer to themselves as "alt-right". This is mentioned in the article - I am not personally familiar with the issue. As for PewDiePie, I think that some of his acts were certainly deserving of the alt-right moniker, although I do believe these weren't representative of him…

Why couldn't the cab driver just suggest the name of some stadiums or say he doesn't know? This thread has nothing to do with white knights, princesses or redpill. It is just some dick who is unwilling to spend 10 seconds of his time to help a stranger because the stranger isn't going to pay him. The fact that it was a couple of females is irrelevant.

Cab drivers earn around $12/hour in the US (source). Let's assume that it takes 30 seconds for someone to say one of the sentences which the person you replied to gave. That would be 10 cents worth of time. If you are so self centered that you will not spend 10 cents of your time to help strangers, then you probably are an asshole.

Do all ...(X/Y/Z) ? NO. These are generalizations I would say that TRP examples you have listed are more extreme scenarios than generalizations. This doesn't discredit their value for making a point, but I don't think many people would believe them to be true in general. No, the difference is that OP is a middle aged man and the girl he is having a fling with is a young woman who just wants some fun. OP can play things as cool as he wants but it doesn't alter the fact that he is almost old enough to be her father and she just doesn't have any intention of getting serious at that age.

You are 35. She is 21. This has nothing to do with alpha, beta, redpill, etc. No 21 year old girl is going to start dating a 35 year old with the intention of falling in love and settling down. She just wants a bit of fun and will then move on. If you want to settle down, date someone who is at that stage in life.
