Would you be ok with this happening to a man? It happens to men every day. Were only hearing about this because its about a celebrity and a woman so it's doubly rare and news worthy. But there are wealthy men paying this amount or more all the time. They're just not famous enough to have articles written about then for it

its not that its wrong for women to objectify men, at least not any more wrong than the reverse. the problem is that an article like this can be written and no one bats an eye, but reverse the genders and there would be a NOW spokeswoman on tv and firings that very evening.

Don't forget the old: "men can't be raped" or "he probably enjoyed it" I love how every time you see any story about a woman sleeping with her male underage student, the first thing people ask is of she's hot, as if that makes it ok. Is there a movement or trend of some kind along these lines? From the context of the discussion I was expecting something along the lines of men refusing to marry or even get into relationships with women. Kind of like what I keep seeing about the young men in japan called 'herbivores' (seems like it gets posted daily on reddit). Only instead of being caused by an overly conformist society, caused by fear of losing their kids/ half of everything they own. Or of being falsely and vindictivley acc…

I'm not even going to dignify the first half with a response, it's just as obvious what that sub is about as it is that you are a terrible troll. feminism is about special treatment for women, which is why it is feminism rather than women's rights. men's rights is about combatting the laws, practices, and sentiments that actively discriminate against men, hence men's rights. no hypocrisy there either start coming up with some intelligent replies or were done here

this is something I've learned just from dating women. they have an amazing mental capacity for justifying some really despicable actions. whereas men still do plenty of bad things, they will usually repent and feel guilty afterward. women will use their emotions, the actions of others, anything they can grasp at to explain why even though what they did goes against everything they've always stood for, they were still in the right.
