What about for a virgin?

They don’t like when you flip it on them. 😂 By their own logic, unattractive, short, weak, timid men shouldn’t breed. Women should ignore them at all costs. They should exclusively pursue sex with tall, strong, dominant, confident, aggressive men, and then settle down with a nice, docile man who’ll support them financially. Sound horrific? It sure does, but technically, it’s a perfect mating strategy. Try telling them that, though. 😂

Did you read this before you posted it? Jesus Christ.

It’s insane that you see a woman choosing not to have sex with you as punishing you. The level of entitlement to women’s bodies is batshit crazy.

Same. I dress in a way that’s very feminine and modest (dresses and skirts 99% of the time, usually to the knee or below). I have long, natural hair, minimal piercings, minimal makeup, and one small hidden tattoo. A lot of men assume I’m doing it in a socially conservative way, but in reality, I’m doing in a “do not objectify me” way. My body doesn’t exist for men who don’t care about or respect me to ogle. They’re often disappointed to learn I’m a raging socialist. I don’t do, and have never do…

Yes. Some men are so desperate to convince themselves they have a chance with young girls. A minuscule number of these girls are into older men, and it’s not because they’re attracted to them, it’s because they want their money and to be taken on trips. 99 percent of girls this age are looking for men in their mid 20s at the oldest. Men in their 30s and above are ancient to them and are decidedly unsexy/not cool. I remember being that age and being so creeped out/secondhand embarrassed for the o…

If you think gender segregated spaces ARE ok, then you shouldn’t be trying to take it away it from women, you should be trying to make it available for men. If you’re doing the opposite, you don’t actually care about doing what’s right, you just don’t want anyone to have anything you don’t have yourself.

I think both genders should be able to socialize without the interference of the opposite sex if they choose to do so. Why are you against women’s only gyms? I personally would not want to force myself into an environment where I’m not wanted.

That’s great. I encourage it. What’s the problem?

They don’t have greater voting power, they exercise their voting power to a greater degree. How is this not clear?

I believe in a return to separate but equal when it comes to gendered spaces. I love my women’s only gym because no one stares at me and no one secretly tries to take pictures of me doing glute workouts (yes, that happened). I don’t care if men have a men’s only gym. Have at it. What’s wrong with that?

Agreed. As a woman, I’m perfectly happy during the times that I’m single because I’ve always had a very emotionally close knit group of friends. My female friends truly feel like soulmates to me. Unfortunately more than once in my life I have been partnered and let quality time with my friends fall by the wayside accidentally, and I quickly became isolated and unhappy. Friendships have a much greater impact on my overall well-being than a romantic relationship.

That’s what you say to make yourself feel better. The reality is that sexual validation for women has no time limit and no attractiveness requirement. The oldest, fattest, most hideous woman alive could still get sex within the hour if she so chose. Some guy would pay money for her nudes and tell her she’s the most gorgeous woman he’s ever seen. Watch “My 600 Pound Life” and observe that nearly all of these women have average-looking male partners who do everything for them, including literally …

Yup. Also, there are many more women who are single and childless by choice than men who can say the same. These women are happy, unburdened, and thriving. I think in general men are worse at being single, and they resent it more. In more cases, for men, it’s not a choice.

Not literal children, but too young for a much older woman to date, IMO. It is creepy in the same way that the reversed gender scenario is creepy.

The world is unsafe specifically because of men…who were men protecting women from in this made up fantasy world? Themselves?

This is also true of single father households. You just don’t see it happen very often, because statistically speaking, men are astronomically more likely to abandon their families.

You do realize that marriage was effectively a prison for women until the mid 1900s? “Protection from the world.” Maybe for the lucky few. For the rest, no one was protecting them from anything. And who was protecting them from their husbands?

I think they’re more given to act upon it than women are. They seem motivated to pursue sex to a much greater degree, regardless of desire. But, IMO, they do desire it more as well.

The other side of the coin with this is that the woman who is dating the emotionally immature man is inherently emotionally immature herself. If she were emotionally mature, she would not select that kind of partner and would demand more for herself. As I get older, I find that most adults, both men and women, are disasters in one way or another. Not saying I’m above it either — I have my issues too. Most people are either emotionally immature, liars, cheaters, lead an unhealthy lifestyle, irres…

Yup. Self-reported “sexual satisfaction” =/= consistent real-life orgasms. Women have been taught that their pleasure doesn’t matter. I can’t begin to tell you how many friends I have who willingly engage in sex with men who don’t give them orgasms (and don’t even try to), but say they’re fine with that/don’t care enough to bring it up.

Plenty of monogamous couples with children are living off public assistance and are complete burdens on society.

I’ll let more men jump in here, but from what I’ve observed, men want girlfriends and wives and life partners very, very badly. I’ve always been the one to turn down serious relationships with men. They’ve always without fail wanted more than I did.

It doesn’t matter what the height differential between the two partners is. It matters if the man is objectively tall, and society has decided that 6 feet is tall, and under 6 feet is not. I’m not saying that’s fair or I agree, it’s just the way it is. Regarding the differential, in a similar vein, given the choice between the two, most men wouldn’t prefer a woman who is merely LESS fat than them, they would prefer one who is Not Fat At All. Doesn’t matter if it’s more or less than themselves co…

This isn’t intended to be a pointed question, I’m just curious. How do you know you’re a 7? Are you sure? ETA: The scale is made by women. Do women think you’re a 7?

Most women are hotter than most men. As a biological sex, they are without a doubt more attractive/appealing looking. There are more hot women than there are hot men. Makeup plays a big role. But it’s also just the general level of effort that women put into their appearance. Grooming, styling, and other aesthetic choices make a big difference. I also think the standards of attractiveness for women are more diverse. Men are attracted to an incredibly wide range of female body types. Thicker, thi…

But the sexual marketplace isn’t equal in real life either. Generally speaking men have always been, and always will be, more desirous of women than the reverse. The ratio is irrelevant.

Men can do whatever they want. They’re not obligated to pursue anyone. Ultimately though, men want women more than women want men. The world you’re envisioning, where large numbers of women are motivated to pursue men on a regular basis, will never be a reality. Not saying it’s fair or nice. It’s just true.

Yup. I don’t want kids. Don’t give a crap either way about being married. I have a really beautiful life with more love and connection from friends and family than I know what to do with. I could get my sexual needs met within the hour if I wanted to. And I don’t need anyone’s money. I have zero reason to settle. Love when it’s good can be a beautiful thing, and I look forward to the next time I get to feel it, but genuinely liking my life means I’ll never be desperate for crumbs.

Assuming you’re in the same social circles, women know who the town bicycle is. He’s a known entity, because women talk. Even if you’re not in the same social circles, I’d argue it’s easy to tell. This applies to both men and women. FWIW, I don’t think sleeping with a large number of people makes anyone (men or women) a bad person or unworthy of love. But it is a social behavior that may speak to other personality traits, tendencies, values, etc. which may or may not be desirable to everyone. I …

If we assume hot guys have the ability to fuck hot girls, why would they try to fuck average girls? I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, I just don’t understand why it would.

Yeah, this. I couldn’t necessarily differentiate a 26 year old from a 29 year old, but I knew with absolute certainty that they were not a part of my traditionally college-aged cohort (18-22). Which, at my very young age, made them “old.” It didn’t necessarily mean I thought they were objectively unattractive, but even if I found them handsome, it was handsome for an old guy. Sure, there were a few maladjusted girls with issues who consistently went out with much older, creepy men, but the vast …

When I was that age, my friends and I would laugh at the 30+ year old men who would try to hit on us. They were just seen as sad and desperate.

Speaking from experience, this is not true. I was much more insecure in my first relationship, because I was a virgin and he had already been with multiple women, which made me jealous (not for good reason — it was 100% my problem). Once I had experiences of my own, it was no longer an issue.

What percentage of men under 50 have any concept of how to change their own oil? I’m thinking less than 25%, and that’s being generous.

What penance is he paying? Genuine question. I don’t really understand why it upsets him, and I’m trying to. Because you’re right — it never involved him to begin with.
