Glad to hear that! The reason for our (yours and mine) differing experiences could be the culture of the place where we live, respectively, or perhaps it's correlated with our respective views of what the must-haves for desirability in a man are. Those that I'm talking about who went to Asia had good careers/career prospects and earned well/had good grades and a promising future and are mercilessly unattractive to - by Western standards - decent-looking. But what they have in common is no person…

Oh my. How do they go about dating Asian women? Do they already live there, or do they basically go the mailorder bride route? Where I live, it's usually a combination of the latter and/or going to Asia to study or work for a bit. The women they take back home are miserable, can barely communicate with the guy or anyone else, and basically live like literal bangmaids.

I know a handful of men who went to Asia to work/study there myself, and some others by proxy, and ALL of them are bottom of the barrel types. Unfortunately, most of them were so "successful" with the women there that they either stayed in Asia, made it their life goal to move to Asia, or went home with an Asian wife. I say "unfortunately" because I feel sorry for the respective women afflicted with these guys, but also because people who are in love with an anime character, have no life skills …

It sounds utopic, but hear me out. Another poster has pointed out that there are single mum by choice communities, while others have said that being a single mother is hard. How about getting to know other single-by-choice mothers and create a co-living and co-parenting space? You get to be a single mother without the burden of being alone.

Same as my dad. The number of insults my mother had to endure because of him is unfathomable. Sadly, my partner's parents LOVE to comment on other people's weight. The first thing they criticise on someone else (behind their backs, of course), be they relatives, acquaintances, random bystanders or people on TV, is how fat they are, how big their belly is, how this person should never wear anything without sleeves again. It's what my partner grew up with, and while he doesn't do it in my presence…

I will never understand those who argue that people who commit violent acts should receive a second chance. I mean, sure, there's a possibility they improve as a human being over time and with effort, but should someone who raped another person, who beat them up, who killed someone really have access to society again? Solely because this person COULD have bettered themselves? To no one else's benefit but the perpetrator's? I think this opinion of mine is considered to be very, very right wing an…

So Raith Rovers, a football club in Scotland, with its president being John Sim, its manager John McGlynn, and its most prominent supporter no other than former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, signed rapist David Goodwillie - RAPIST DAVID GOODWILLIE for those in the back - knowing that David Goodwillie likes to rape? Is that correct?

As a fellow Europoor, I must admit I'm barely starting to learn how to come across in a supportive, validating and nuanced way, and I'm doing that with the help of reddit. I mean this as an absolute compliment towards Anglo-Saxon countries and their representatives here on reddit: your way of expressing yourselves (there are exceptions, of course) is something else.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the men that idolise Hugh Hefner almost all borderline geriatric and definitely all incapable of even having an erection any longer? I mean, that guy looked like the Crypt Keeper ever since I can remember and I'm not that young. When will they look up to men that are actually sexually attractive? Do they not realise that no woman will ever look at them with desire unless they are attractive?

They rarely have an exit strategy or a plan of any shape. It's mostly just wishful thinking and acting on impulse, be it regarding relationships, stock market gambling they call "investing" despite not knowing what a balance sheet is, quitting jobs, founding businesses, starting fights. It's ridiculous that men are still widely considered to be the better leaders when poor impulse control is one of the main effects of the hormones that make men become and stay men.

Good thing the red pill community is nothing but a giant circle jerk of men upstaging each other, pretending they're happy and successful with their five submissive top model "plates", while to anyone with two braincells it is clear as day that they are delusional and on suicide watch multiple times a year. He had children with a person and then decided to abandon both. He will probably take no accountability for the failed relationship and consider it normal for the woman to keep the children and him being free to do whatever. That's a huge red flag for me. If the children are with him, you can absolutely count on becoming the children's substitute mother. Your efforts of staying childfree will go down the drain. Honestly, I think that someone aligned with your values will be childfree as well at …

Exactly. And don't bother letting them know why you're not interested in them, because then they come at you with sob stories such as them having been coerced or trapped into procreating or her being the most evil witch that he had to save himself from, or her getting a divorce for no reason whatsoever. I've yet to meet a man who takes accountability for the failed relationship with the mother of his child and for abandoning his flesh and blood.

Best thing about it is that this is a quote my father must have read somewhere and wrote it down because he deemed it so intelligent. That's how I found this quote and ever since, I've noticed that it is said often even if worded differently, and thought to be correct by many misogynist assholes.

Holy shit. Reverse the roles. How many men would date a woman who couldn't be penetrated? I mean, ED in a young guy is a medical issue and to be taken seriously, sure. Would any woman with a sex drive and a sense of self-worth be with a man with ED? Doubt it.

Honestly, judging from the women I know who are in relationships/dating, I think it wouldn't hurt for them to harbour resentment. It would make it significantly easier to be distrustful where distrust is due, to not get attached to someone who has yet to turn out to be an asshole, and to detach themselves later on. I assume that when you meet the right person, your resentment will disappear. Not all of a sudden, but gradually. Until then, I hope you can get rid of the sentiment of needing a part…

But you don't understand, for men, sex is a primal need and you can't hold men responsible for what they do when they are horny! /s Reminds me of a wonderfully LV saying: "A man can't be faithful, a woman doesn't want to." I love that the playing field is finally becoming even. Those who do not being treated equally will not be able to procreate and I couldn't be happier.

I understand your point of view, and I laud you for being so diplomatic. Diplomacy, however, is not one of my virtues. I am a big fan of equality (like you, but I go about it differently) and if equality has to be established by seeming combative, then so be it. If men are allowed to have standards and put them in their bio (and be it "no vegetarians", "no fake breasts" or whatever, I don't care), then I am taking the liberty of doing the same thing with my own set of standards. If society as a …

I had the very same experience with a guy from a predominantly Muslim part of the world, who swore he wasn't religious and said he hated Muslim culture. Turns out he hated not being allowed to drink alcohol and not being able to access women for sex as easily as here. Other than that, he said almost everything you wrote verbatim. There used to be a website where women came together to describe their relationship with men like these. Men they met while on holiday in (Northern) Africa, Central Asi…

Exactly. He doesn't want to raise the child (because you absolutely know that if he wanted to, he would, and wouldn't have to pay child support in the first place) since he thinks it's the woman's job to be there for the child 24/7 AND work AND organise her day around the needs of the child, and she should be occupied enough to never have the energy to take care of herself or find another relationship again, while all he has to do is to pay her to cover THEIR child's needs, while he can go to th…

Maybe it is cultural indeed. Honestly, plenty of FDS elements are not universal and differ across cultures, so I understand what you mean. I must say that the hatred against single mothers seems especially prominent in the US (judging from US media and US acquaintances I have), but even in my part of the world, this sentiment exists and has increased noticeably. Not to mention other large parts of the world where a single mother with no male family member to "protect" can barely go shopping for …

Exactly. The only reason to even as much as look at a single dad is if his wife died a long, long time ago and he's managed to care for his children on his own (without his mother or her mother "helping", i.e. doing all the work). However, as someone in my twenties I wouldn't consider dating a man with a child regardless of the circumstances.

I haven't considered this yet but this sounds accurate. Also, have you noticed how irate some of them become when they notice a single mother is doing well? "Oh look at her branded bag, she bought that from the child support I pay her, what a insert slur" They hate it when/if she manages to dig herself and the child out of the hole he maneuvered her in.

Exactly. Either the cause for this behaviour is outright willful boundary stomping, or cognitive dissonance like in Eve's example. I bet there are many men too dissonant to realise that they, too, are divorced, despite it being their "terrible, cheating, crazy, golddigging ex" who supposedly initiated the divorce out of the blue and for no discernible reason whatsoever.

I'm against words like "ho" but in my opinion, if anyone uses it to denominate women, they should use it to refer to men as well. Apart from equality reasons, I advocate for this because "fuckboi" sounds like a compliment to scrote ears, and calling them what they use to call women makes them especially mad. Just like when you tell them they're being too emotional. :)

I'm not talking about sex tourism, though. Not at all. I'm talking about losers going to East and Southeast Asia in hopes of being swarmed by women that they deem submissive, low maintenance and forever grateful to have been picked by a Western man. About East Asia and the Philippines being a random combination: that's the four countries where the losers I personally know went to with the above-mentioned goal, with Korea topping the list and the Philippines coming second.

So many men who can't get with any woman in their Western country of origin go for one out of the following options: 1. They turn to virtual women, i.e. video game or anime waifus, which is usually accompanied by heavy porn consumption, massive misogyny and every other aspect that comes with inceldom. 2. They (mostly older scrotes, or those that I described above who get tired of fucking their waifu body pillow after all) go to China, Korea, Japan, the Philippines etc. with the expectation of be…

I found the original thread and OPs comments are so revealing of what an entitled creep he really is. He attempted to hide his true misogynistic nature in his post, but failed in almost every single comment. Is it really that hard to keep up your fake persona for a couple of hours when all you wanted was sympathy in the first place? His sick cat? The shelter's cat where he works/volunteers? I don't know, I don't see anything wrong with this, but there's not much context to judge from. On the contrary, I actually think that if it's his cat/his protegee at the shelter, then this is a high value trait. There are enough assholes who get rid of their cats, dogs and pets in general once they get sick and/or old, and showing them proudly means they stand by the poor animal when it needs its human the most. I suppose I'm just different from you, I am not someone who values community at all. Though even I sometimes yearn for sitting around with my partner and some of our friends, but truthfully, we barely have friends, and the friends I have I prefer to be alone with. Since you're a different kind of person, I understand why you let him go. Have you found another HVM since then?

It is definitely about numbers and culture is an extremely important factor, in my opinion. I personally would never consider anyone a HVM who follows one of the women-hating religions.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/07/21 09:00 AM
8

Funny how we all have different definitions of what constitutes a HVM. I consider my HVM partner to be one because of his personality, his willingness to change once he realises his habits aren't ideal, his looks and genes, and his loyalty. We earn the same amount, and while we have a high net worth we live simply as we are not materialistic. We're in our twenties, if that matters at all. If I were your family friend I think I'd be scared to lose him once I'm less beautiful.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/07/21 08:55 AM
23

My partner is a HVM. Unlike the other men I'd been with, he wasn't very charismatic and eloquent at first, even though I find both traits very attractive and I used to be turned off by men who couldn't make me swoon with their words alone. He later turned out to be all that and more, just not right from the get-go and not with strangers. Ever since I've met him, I tend to see outgoing, charismatic player-type guys for what most of them usually are: narcissists.

Unless his activity is limited to maintaining his charity's social media, that's a no from me. If he is active on his own social media, I lose interest since it indicates that he likes to embellish his appearance and/or think he is more important than he really is.

In a professional setting that has nothing to do with childcare or marriage, opening with something that is irrelevant to the profession is undermining yourself. Or at the very least it shows you define yourself via motherhood and marriage even in a professional context. That's how I see it, at least, and that's also why I'd never do that.

Haven't you heard? Women mustn't have preferences or else they're a "bitch" and, even more illogically, a "hoe". Women are shamed when they prefer tall men (nr. 1 trope on all the online dating subs), when they want big dicks ("she must have used the cock carousel so much she can't appreciate normal dick"), when they prefer a race ("Oh, you're not into East Asians? You racist!"), and the list goes on and on.
