| 0 | It seems as though /r/politics is a little misinformed about our goals.I understand that these folk at /r/feminism -- wait sorry /r/politics seem to have a grave problem with MR (because who doesn't? /s) but that they even shit on egalitarianism? That just makes me sad, down to the bottom of my heart. Apparently feminists are the only ones who can strive for equality and either egalitarianists "spout MRA talking points word to word" or egalitarianism is just "utterly meaningless" in general. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/12 10:51 PM |
| 3 | Equality is a concept that's not owned by feminism so don't push your label on me!No, a fancy way of saying you think men have it worse than women is to say "I'm an MRA". Yes that's generalising, I know, and I also know that the vast majority of MRA's realise that in some ways men have it better than women :) Why can't we just agree that everyone has it bad - just in different ways? I don't understand why it needs to be compared or contested, could you explain your view to me? In my eyes, life sucks to women and men both, the pitfalls are just placed differently. | /r/MensRights | 25/11/12 08:39 PM |
| 1 | DAE object to the mainstream gaming media's characterization of the core gaming community being hostile to women? What would the problem be there? Some game developers would put more thought in developing more fleshed out characters. I hardly think that's a sacrifice. | /r/MensRights | 06/11/12 06:48 PM |
