Honestly, for your first time asking someone out this was a success.

Also, I do stay in my room a ton... and I am aware of this. I'm a college student but still haven't been to any parties. I think it's more that I have social anxiety. :/ Also I don't drink/smoke (nothing against it!) so I feel out of place as well You don't have to go to parties, join clubs or teams. Great way to meet people with similar interests and a built in reason to talk to people.

If you know that people will discriminate against you for some innate quality (sex, race, etc.), why are you morally bound to be honest about that quality? Any single person doesn't have to, people have different moral compasses. For me personally, I don't like to lie to girls because I prefer to form genuine connections. Lying obstructs that since you're not actually presenting yourself. I'm a take it or leave it guy, what I am is what you get. You can change things about yourself of course, bu…

Because I'm not arguing whether or not it's wrong for girls to not prefer a certain age (I don't think it is). I do think it's wrong to lie about your age to deceive them to get around their preferences.

If he isn't being otherwise manipulative Other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln? The age deception/manipulation is the thing that bothers me. No point in disregarding it for the sake of your point.

I disagree, even if she was 18 I would still feel uneasy about this, especially since he's made it clear he often lies about his age to try and get with young women.

What an interesting reaction to my innocuous comment advising safe sex. Also, my comment was also a bit of a joke as well. While, I was at my parents wedding, they were almost 30. And sorry you took my last sentence as a burn, it really wasn't. Dont be so cynical man, lighten up!

As someone who was two weeks old when their parents got married, at least ask if she's on birth control (give safe sex the old college try). Also, STDs are no joke and why risk it? Unless you really aren't getting laid enough to turn it down.

The U.S. Census allows Portuguese to identify as Hispanic. Iberian peninsula is known as Hispania in Latin. So I guess it makes sense.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
