Hey, I just wanna say I appreciate you for taking a stand against this. Part of why the men's right movement is getting a bad wrap is so much of the mindset above. Thanks for taking a stand.

What makes yall think she gives a fuck about body positivity?

Go work on your social skills in real life, you're not helping yourself.

You don't know this woman is a radical feminist, you are bullying her for beliefs you don't actually know she has. So it's really about bullying her for her appearance. She is not famous, you lied to justify what you are doing. Being a radical anti feminist isn't any better. You're behaving the same way they do, with strawman memes.

You're bullying a random woman who is not famous. Also do you see the disconnect with your words and how they also apply to feminism? Which isn't an organised movement with leaders, but many individuals with various understanding and a spectrum of views from the reasonable to the extreme? And that using random tweets and opinions to represent it as a whole, would be as false as me using some random angry redditors as representative of white men and their beliefs?

I looked it up and all I found is some cringy video from a one on one incident titled 'rekt feminist' with some dude playing video games and talking. It didn't actually have this woman in it? So now I'm beginning to think I was right all along. If I used a white dude acting wild and racist, and made a video talking about it as proof of how racist and crazy white men were would that justify me sticking a random white guys pic on memes and bashing them?

Well, if you don't even know their views you're not making fun of feminism you're just making fun of a random person for having attributes you associate with a group you don't like.

Never seen her in my life, but as long as its not a random. I’ve seen this exact same format used in this identical way before just to rag on some poor random lady cuz she had bright hair and glasses.

If you guys are trying to make a point about how you don’t hate women, mocking random ones for their appearance kinda belies that.

And MRAs care more about tearing down 'uppity' women than lifting up downtrodden men. ...If this subreddit and what gets upvoted here is any indication. honestly, I think this sub does more harm to the movement than it helps. I'm a feminist, I believe in many ways men do get the short end of the stick and we need to make improvements. All places like this do is isolate those like me, and makes it clear they're not interested in allies but spewing hateful rhetoric and being angry at strawmen.

Do you have anything that actually proves the harem theory and only 'top' men being in relationships? Or is this just you trying to cobble together a theory based on your personal experiences and those of men who seek manosphere forums for a sense of camraderie they lack in their lives ? Because those things are not science. We humans are good at finding patterns that may not actually be true.

This has nothing to do with what you were using the study for - that women only pursue the hottest men and men are fairer in their selection, that is patently false as proven. That men initiate more thanks to historical traditions taking a while to diminish is an entirely different point altogether.

The 80% online study you're referencing proved the opposite point you're making. It was the OKC study, and it showed despite the fact women rated men harshly looks wise, they were willing to message and go out with them anyway. Unlike men, who rated women's looks more evenly but disproportionately messaged only the hottest women. So while women had higher bar for what they found physically attractive, men were more shallow in their choices and actions.

Every time this sub reaches all its for "unknown woman writes article on a website where anyone can publish an article that we disagree with!!! Take that feminist hypocrites!"

Most of the sub assumes the same thing when flippant comments come from feminists.

I agree, and ranting about stuff in a public forum is an action. I think reading and subscribing to certain things certainly influence your thoughts and behaviours, and if you choose to participate in certain things it is indicative of who you are.

Do you think they're not being racist because they don't say it, they just think these things secretly? My blowing off steam online isn't like shit on the OP, because I don't think less of men. If you act that way on MGTOW, you are harbouring those thoughts.
/r/MensRights16/06/17 01:48 PM

Don't make the mistake of thinking that MGTOW accurately represents the opinions of MGTOW guys What kinda double think nonsense.

Remember that some nobody movie blog tweeted about the wonder woman female only screenings at one theatre for charity, and then also tweeted about a tweet from a Lucas writer being derisive about men only Star wars screening? Thousands of upvotes and 'feminism are so hypocritical' comments. Two different writers on some shit blog reporting dissenting povs from other people. That was the top post by thousands when a post about trying to encourage boys to read more was totally ignored.

But it's not a double standard if it's not the same people saying or doing it. And it isn't in this case. Painting it as us Vs them, and pretending I'm arguing things I'm not through semantics is just being juvenile. I'm for mens rights, I do think their are avenues where they get the short end of the stick. We are not the boogie man.
/r/MensRights01/06/17 08:56 PM

There is no studio response in either case. A female Lucas employee tweeted a response to a tweet about a male only viewing. That's it. You guys buy into the outrage circlejerk bullshit just as much as extremists on the othe side do.

Lmao, I don't think I'm the oversensitive one in a post where people are comparing one theatre having novelty screenings for charity with Jim Crow south.

This is receiving negative backlash too. You're participating in it.

What hypocrisy? Seriously. Movieweb is a generic movie site, nothing to do with feminism.

But what do tweets from a neutral party acknowledging seperatecontroversies have to do with anything? It's not even a feminist website.

Naturally opted for colours? Got a source, because until recently the gender Color coding was the exact opposite of what it is now.

Buried on a sub section of their website dedicated to opinion pieces on pop culture and media.

Written by 'Moley Taint' who has nothing else on the site and is the partner piece to another 'article' that mostly consists of screenshots from the video. It might as well be a blog post.

I'm tired of both sides going out of their way to dredge things up they find offensive and acting as if that one unpopular tweet is a fair representation of a movement they dislike's opinion.

I just looked, it's all people like you outrage circle jerking over outrage porn. Also this article is shared immediately after a post from the same site laughing at the video. You can always find someone saying dumb on Twitter if you look for it, doesn't mean it's a common feeling.

This board is obsessed with pseduo scientific analyzing and posting endless conversations about women, it's hilarious for a board supposed to be about men 'going their own way' is 90% bitching about ladies.

Shit. The ladies of /askwomen were talking about their bans there the other day. It's just a shitty sub circle jerk, who doesn't know that at this point? Most Reddit feminists don't even go there anymore.

Also, getting mad because people associate mra's with hating women and then saying you hate women in the next breath might be why you and others are poorly received in women dominated spaces. Way to confirm their biases.

I don't agree with your comments being deleted as silly as I find them, but when you remove anything any time you look bad and then run to a hugbox then it's harder to sympathize. You do women a disservice when you flake out on your own opinion and run away, scrubbing away the evidence of any unlikable thing you've done. At least own your views, or it looks like you're ashamed of them.
