Putting suicides alongside the other stats makes me mad for some reason. Just doesn’t belong.

Oh yeah all im saying is that there’s a lifestyle mismatch. I’m not gonna force the person im with to stay home instead of going out clubbing if that’s their thing. So im just not gonna date someone who does that stuff.

I go the gym and keep active. But my spare time is definitely couch potato and introverted. I would hate dating a marathon runner or fitness crazies. I ain’t trying to go adventures every weekend lmfao.

I think it matters more in terms of career fields imo. “We need more female, pilots, engineers, etc” but never “we need more male teachers, nurses, etc”. Even then it’s only usually inclusivity of the highest paying, white collar jobs. I think I’ve seen one advertisement for female electricians in all my years.

My dad was a stay at home dad for myself and my brother in the early 00s. He was the first man to take paternity leave and the first to quit to be STAH in his work place. Mom made all the money. I was pretty happy with our upbringing and my mom is too. They’re still married 35 years later.

My gym’s women’s locker room has a whole automatic sliding door entrance whereas the men’s is just open. The women also have an entire gym within their locker room as well as a pool. The main pool does have an entrance from the men’s locker but it’s also the public pool. Anyone can buy a pass and use that pool. Not to mention the myriad of women only classes/groups at the gym too. Kind of insane.

Maybe mandate a shorter work day and/or week for families with children? 6 day work weeks is retarded. I feel like the tipping point for me would be assurance I would have a guaranteed amount of time with my family/children and a flexible schedule. Single/childless people have no stake in the future of the country so they can work in the present to contribute to society. But I’m just a dood lol I know nothing.

There are plenty of men who want to protect and provide. Plenty of men who would do an excellent job of that. Your fixation on a field like doctors is telling. The number of men and people in general in high paying fields like that is extremely small. And a lot of high income men are less likely to have this mentality. They can have their pick of the lot, so why settle for one. Look at the middle income earners.

Even then, women’s view of height is pretty dysmorphic at the visual level. The 5’12” meme is rooted in truth. I’m just barely 6’2” and a lot of women think I’m 5’10 when first meeting.

Plenty of men do. I would argue most do but are so traumatized from the beratement of feminism. The catch is the easiest and most accessible places to meet people usually attract the opposite. Try hobby clubs and other group activities.

Men aren’t a monolith. There are plenty of men who find quiet/nervousness/shyness attractive or cute. To add a caveat though. Like the other commenters said - you have to distinguish between genuine fear for your own safety or misunderstanding your own feelings. A nervous body language/tone/behaviour born of fear for your safety is different to “I like this person, I don’t want to fuck this up” giddy fear.

There are plenty of younger women who are Karen-esque, just in different ways. They can be just as complicated. Older men have it easier with younger women because of the obvious reasons (finances, maturity, etc). Young women know this so they have every reason to be as uncomplicated as possible for that older man. She is much more likely to get away with egregious “shit-tests” with a younger man, disguised as healthy vetting, because they both know their relative value on the relationship and s…

There are very few places where you can talk/explore ideas without the prerequisite of taking the most radical positions with the harshest rhetoric. I don’t really participate in this sub because I am male, but I do find value in reading the posts here. The discussions feel much more level headed than a lot of redpillesque sites where anger seems to be the predominant emotion - and that get’s grating. Seeing people happy makes me happy and this sub has been the most consistent on that metric.

It has been 6 years since I was last touched intimately by someone that wasn’t hugging family member (These are probably rookie numbers compared to some men. Which is fucking depressing). And never before that time. When I told this particular woman about that, she seemed genuinely surprised and actually cried as I explained that it’s a fairly normal experience for men and that most of us are used to touch starvation. If men are starved of something as simple as a hug, what the fuck is a sex str…

It always amazes me that those types of people are the ones who are most likely to say “educate yourself”. They are also the ones to say men are immature yet they are seemingly perpetual teenagers with how they arrogantly speak out of both sides of their mouths like they know everything.

It always makes me laugh when young women cite the reason why they don’t date men their own age is that young men are immature. Sure, if your definition of maturity is based on income, possessions, sex and personality. To me, getting knocked up by a rando ONS from a party or dating app is a result of one of the most immature lifestyles imaginable.

It’s highly individual. But something as small and innocent as paying for a date that he wanted to pay for could be subconsciously taken that way. It’s the small things like that, that add up over time and create the vibe that he is not appreciated.

A fun game to play is to look up your local post-secondary institutions scholarships and their eligibility criteria. Hell it’s even seeping into the trades here. There’s already a massive shortage of tradesmen with all the boomers retiring. Not to mention all the other manual labour jobs, that get zero spotlight, needed to keep countries running. Any place with a high concentration of people, small cities, towns/villages, etc will start the metrosexual conversion - especially as internet becomes more easily accessible and cheaper. What exacerbates this the most, in my individual observation, is when public transit makes an appearance. I live in a small town outside the city about a 50min+ drive to the city core. A few weeks after we got a singular bus stop that runs only one day a week, the city-type weirdos were starting show up noticea…

While I have been betrayed before, those relationships were nowhere near as long as the ones above. However, I think I learned similar lessons without the massive time investment - which I am very grateful for. Just because I was cheated on doesn’t mean I should have “trust issues”. The only thinking they’re doing is how to be hated more and the best ways to ensure the latter part of her sentence comes true. I met a few college women (early 20s) that were hardcore feminists. 2 of them expressed great interest in voluntary and medically unnecessary hysterectomies. Their obsession with identity, labels, names, etc is hard to understand for me. The more I think about this fixation on groups/identities/, the more it falls apart. It’s like they can’t exist without being in a clearly defined group or something (subscribing to an ideology is a group too). Correct me if I am wrong. But doesn’t Korea have mandatory military service for men? You have the physical advantage in conflict. But she has every other advantage before and after the fact. There are still many young men today that were raised with the whole “never hit a girl” mentality and “respect women” thing. Oh I agree wholeheartedly with what you just said. I think my anecdotal story is more of an exception to the rule. Her environment was extremely shitty and being in that 7 hours a day 5 days a week was just not a good thing. Gang/thug/rap culture was a strong thing over there.

Well said. #3 is kind of a crap shoot though. A strong father figure can easily be subverted by the thousands of hours a developing child will spend away from their parents in schools. With what they teach/preach in schools along with the shitty environment a public highschool is, I cannot blame good fathers these days. I have no sources beyond my own anecdotal experiences. However my own cousin is a prime example of this. Extremely loving, caring and disciplined father (my uncle. Seriously love…

Wasn’t really love bombing, maybe. I made it clear to her that we would never be anything more than FWB. And I outright told her that I can have fun with you, but I don’t see you as a long term material. She took it pretty well and we did the thing.

Absent father type beat. But for real, I think in this case she needed a man to just tell her no. IIRC she had a lot of male feminist orbiters that were yes-men and agreed with her on everything. Disagreeing and telling her she was wrong was what started the dampening process. And tbh, it was totally unintentional on my part. At that point in my life i was in a monk mode. Chicks were the last thing on my mind and I was pretty aloof. I was genuinely shaken up when she invited me to study and she …

I always get a feeling of disappointment and pity when I see a noticeably overweight person. And especially when I see those “alt” SJW type girls marring their bodies with ridiculous tattoos and piercings (I realize people have their own taste, but that stuff just isn’t for me). I can see just how beautiful they could be and I loath the people who drove them down this path. I had one of those blue haired, tatted and pierced types all over me for a bit. While I myself am a fairly clean cut man. I…

Tbh sometimes a fat girl who has lost all the weight and achieved what they wanted in terms of attractiveness, is more attractive to me than someone who was blessed with an attractive body from the start. Maybe it has something to do with discipline, courage, etc. But it’s just something interesting I find myself thinking about sometimes. Good luck on your journey OP, Godspeed!

Men and women are two sides of the same coin. We need each other to keep our nations going. The heartbreakers (fuckboys, manwhores, etc) and sluts are what RPW advocates against being and pursuing. These people are almost always more miserable and unfulfilled than they portray.

I agree that the “refugees” coming from the Middle East are pretty cowardly. Majority military aged males running from responsibility to their homeland. They are economic migrants looking to exploit the goodness of the welfare state of Europe. The EU needs to accept women and children only for temporary refuge. The men need to sort out the absolute mess that their countries are. But as usual, FDS has absolutely brain dead reasoning lacking any self awareness. They hate generalizations yet they a…

And if you can get off of manual labour as easy as selling pictures online as well as pay for that service, I will judge you for it. Men get injured and die every day doing the dirty and dangerous jobs that keep the internet on so both parties can get their fix. The west truly does not know how good it has it.

I’m sorry that happened to you, your mom is an amazing woman and I’m glad she left him.
