2	How Should I Spend My Time? Yea Italian is beautiful but it is really useless other than to show off you know your foods or to impress your date lol. Spanish in Europe i am not sure of its importance there but if you learned Spanish most of Central and South America could open up to you. 2	How Should I Spend My Time? If you are European and plan on staying there i would Recommend German, and possibly even Russian.... if you plan on leaving Europe I Recommend Spanish (or Portuguese if you go to Brazil) Beyond those languages the only other real world useful language i can think of is French. Learning a language is a fantastic one, builds confidence and makes you stand out from the crowd should a situation ever arise... for example I was as a restaurant with some friends and the moment they heard me nonchalantly speaking french with the owner they all saw me in this new light it was weird.
