agree wholeheartedly, but to be more accurate they aren't psycho (which is like people hearing voices, delusions the police are implanting tracking devices in their scalp, talking gibberish, etc.) These women are more on the borderline/histrionic personality disorder spectrum, with no sense of self, extreme abandonment fears, extreme emotional instability.

OK.....not literally equivalent, but it's the closest comparison you can make. It's so close it's really irrelevant. Cutting of the head of the penis wouldn't interfere with urethra function or any other "life sustaining processes" as you say.

The male equivalent of female circumcision would be cutting off the entire head of your dick.

There's a couple things in your comment to address. First a question: Your friend works 15 hours more per week on average and gets paid the same amount of money as you? Second: I agree there is a gap, but the frustrating thing is no one can explain why and the implication is it's because of unfair compensation practices when it could easily be one of several other issues (women working less demanding schedules, more vacation, less call, lower stress specialties, etc). The studies always talk abo…

Can you really claim that for all PA jobs out there? I'm sure many are salaried, but there must be jobs with hourly pay or productivity pay. Or perhaps men take the jobs demanding more hours and get higher salaries. The problem is these studies try to account for the differences but it's very challenging and ultimately the results are questionable. I don't understand your claim that PA compensation would be lower if shown per hr.

They say they controlled for several factors including hours worked and on call shifts, but none of the graphs represent this. It seems there should be a graph with dollars per hour which would more accurately represent the true compensation.

More medical students today are women. The inequality has swung the other way. Of course many of these women will choose to work part time. And some will finish training and not work at all, choosing to stay home with kids while their orthopedic surgeon husband generates income.

Or it's really challenging and 'some' women nope out expecting to marry a man with a good job. Most men are anticipating they will be the primary income earner while most women don't.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
