Why did she initially say that you look ridiculous? Is your appearance out of the ordinary in any way?

What actions? She hasn't harmed anyone.

Is this a tenet of TRP or just your personal belief? You're confusing the momentary confidence boost from lifting with a permanent change to personality. The guys at your gym who lifted for years and are confident, they've always been confident. The guys who lifted and "became" confident are still carrying around every insecurity they had. You know the type, talks big, gets easily offended, stares you down, basically acts like he's permanently under siege.

I applaud it too and I think it's a clever hack. I'm just saying that ultimately it's an act, that you have to hold back who you are and struggle to keep a pretense going, as is noticeable in the OP. In my opinion, no amount of pretending to be X will make you an X. It's fine for a night out or for chasing some tail, but isn't it exhausting as a permanent routine?

The problem is when I act like my old blue-pill, over-emotional, touchy-feely self. It's not your 'old', it's who you are. Being all alpha is the act. But I have put a permanent chink in my alpha armor. She will always have that view of me on some level, even in the back of her mind. Jesus Christ. Is it really worth it living a fake life just for access to pussy?

Mostly a drive-by comment, but I think what women find fundamentally offensive about PUA (and, well, masculinity in general) is how vulnerable they are to it. They set off to have a day at the mall, and end up wanting to have sex. It must be devastating to realize that you are an independently functioning individual, yet you have this string that anyone can pull and activate your lust. Think Ron Swanson and Tammy. It makes a person's free will mean nothing. Sure, Ron can walk away if we wants to…

If this person were a man, he'd be a good-looking doormat with low self esteem.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
