Will never understand why some women get into a relationship with someone they already know is violent—especially when he physically abused his previous partner. Why do they think they’ll be the exception? And if she’s determined to stay with him, then your first priority should be getting your kids away from that man. Sorry this wasn’t the life you imagined…

”traumatize my kids” What is this phenomenon where some parents thinks a kids life will be great just because they have to parents at home? And when the parents are as distance as you and your wife? Not sleeping in the same bed, no weeding ring, I can assume no being intimate either (not only sex)… not roommates for the kids…. The kids will pick up on that… and think that this is a normal relationship….. If you want to wait for your wife to stack up here body count by 20, get bored of it, then c…

Sorry to say this, but if she still truly loved you, she would have at least tried to reconcile… not just go straight to divorce… Her wanting counseling now just sounds like her just trying to make you more ok with the fact that she cheated….. I completely understand why you want to keep the divorce peaceful, especially for your kids and because finances are tight. But don’t let that stop you from protecting yourself. If the roles were reversed and you had cheated while hiding it for months, do …

Sorry to tell you, and you probably have figured this out by now… but assuming the person she is with now was her affair partner, usually means the contact between them never stop….

Is the affair still going? Either way tell her… You deserve a little bit of selfishness atm so yes also tell after the divorce is settled… because those agreements you listed sounds as good as they can come….

It’s possible to stay as friends yes, how good of friends depends, and what kind of friends…. Like I don’t think you want hear about how great the new guy she’s dating is… But either way… she asked, but is this something you want?

Protect you how exactly? 😂 nothing she did or said was her protecting you…. If she did actually date, then I believe this was her using this opportunity/manipulation to do so in peace… she either had a person waiting or she found someone quick… I also think in her mind she thought this “house seperation” was something she was gonna keep for a while, then one day come up with the “should we try again” after he fun had run out… Updateme!

I will never understand poly man 😂 And her now have to “chose” between her husband for 11 years or a guy she met 7 months ago, is one of the reason I also will Never understand poly or put my self in that situation. But hey if it works for you (clearly not) then go for it… What are your thoughts atm? It looks like you are in between divorce or stay married. I can also tell you that her love for that guy is probably just the feeling of “new love”. The time she realize that you are ready do move o…

It’s always sad to see a family split, especially when it’s not due to abuse, cheating, or anything like that. But after reading your post, I truly believe you’re making the right decision. For the first time in 20 years, you’re choosing yourself—after repeatedly expressing your needs over the years and receiving nothing in return. It’s good that she seems amicable for now, and I hope that doesn’t change once she truly realizes there’s no going back. But time will tell… One thing that really sto…

Looking at your post 4 years ago… why tf would you want to get together again with a person who cheated on you more then once, planned to hook up with another person, mocked, laughed at you with other people and also physical abusive?

From what you are writing in your posts and comments it seems like you are doing this because you still love her, and by that I wouldn’t call you an asshole, BUT you have to also think how she will see it. She left you because of your screw ups, maybe she didn’t have the same love for you back then, and that’s why she wouldn’t want to work on the relationship? Or maybe she has love for you still, but trying to “forget” that because of what you did.. sending her flowers and a card will just make …

I really hope not…. Why would you want to be with a person again who you spent everyday with just for them to make up fake stories to get people’s sympathy😂…. Don’t make any sense… to me at least

Hell no🤣🤣 You are 43 years.... Find a new relationship when you are ready for that.... I have also a feeling that she will drop you the second a new man comes around... She's just making sure you aren't running around with other women 🤣

It was a long story maybe I went by it, but why did she start to act like this, because this is just crazy… Leave this person and please for your own, never look back… sounds like a complete nightmare

Have you maybe asked her to stop or that you can’t handle being friends with her anymore if all she does is talking about him? She doesn’t she this the way you do. In her mind you two will always be best friends, even what she do. Tell her that enough is enough, if she has no plan on coming back then she can just leave you alone and not come to you and just talk about him… tell her that the only talks between you know has to be about the divorce. Sorry but I laughed a bit…. Imagine having a poly relationship, and she still chose to lie and leave for another man….. and now trying to get another chance…. Is she good in the head or what? 😭

Damn man…. Not trying to sound like the devils advocate, but one thing is to want you wife and old life back, but do not you think that you can get passed what she has done? Like it would suck even more if you took her back stayed for some months then realized that this isn’t gonna work, while creating a bad home life for your son… Good luck❤️

Her affair fog(I think it’s what’s it’s called) is probably gone, and she sees that the grass wasn’t as greener on the other side.. her guilty is probably also starts to eat her alive… idk… Or classic cheater.. she wants to stay as friends(really don’t know what why cheaters except this, but is common) Just throwing some thoughts here😂 Edit: read thru your history and one thing I saw was: the fact that she already has narcissistic tendencies maybe the fact that you seemed like you didn’t care ab…

Dude sometimes the only answer is to leave… I believe that in some cases fighting for a marriage is right, but how you describe this… just leave man and spare you both from having a horrible co parents future…. They say that women fall out of love long before actually ending it, and the fact that she went out with a guy the day she asked, just shows she in this category… and if she somehow stops the divorce, it will just be years of trying to fix something that could just still end up in a divor…

Is usually for them to trick themselves to feel like they did the right decision in the future…. And a ego boost

The fact that you slept with her again knowing you have it condom or not is probably the nail in the coffin…. Should’ve told her before….
