I always try to emphasize that they’re not just helping me, I’m going to be helping them. So I would say something like, I really feel like this is an environment where I would be able to contribute and be effective in my role. From what I can tell so far, I would be a good fit for this position and this company because it seems like we share a similar philosophy on how to approach projects. Something like that. I hate cliches as well, but they don’t come off sounding corny if you speak delibera…

first realize that you HAVE to do something. You will never escape that, the pressure will never stop, and you'll feel like shit until you do something. Once you realize that you have no choice, your decision of what you're going to do is a lot easier. Next, put some pressure on yourself. Challenge yourself to do something hard. You have one life, do you really want to look back and say you never did something hard? that you just got by? try to find someone who inspires you and model yourself af…

hard to say anything without more context. but why does this have to be a bad experience? now you know how much this thing about yourself bothers you, and how much it can shake, and furthermore that other people notice. congratulations, its the first day of the rest of your life. change that part about yourself and keep on

i can only speak from my own job experience, which is limited. But i helped my boss interview a lot of people. the job was very entry level, so she barely looked at the resume. she just wanted someone who would fit in with the office and wasn't a total mouth breather. you might have to work yourself up to a better job, but you can for sure get in the door some where with a good interview. and you can work on your interviewing skills everyday

If she is making those threats, take them seriously. Call someone for her, tell her parents - do something proactive. If she is serious, you’ve done the right thing. If she is bluffing, you’ve made it real for her.

because you can't turn hoes into housewives. They are either one or the other, appreciate them for what they are.

Why would you stay with for any second longer? the fact that you have to post here gives you your answer. You're looking for a reason to stay, and there isn't one. You have nothing to explain to her because this is just purely antisocial behavior. If it was a guy, you wouldn't think twice about it, or shouldn't. My point is not that she is shit, but that you are not. Get something good for yourself.

So hire a prostitute if it’ll get you a fat ass on your dick and that’s what you’re after. No offense dude but you sound like a thirsty fuck boy and I’m sure that’s coming across to every girl you meet. Improve yourself for the sake of improvement. Unless your goals are genuine, every can see through it.

I don't wanna sound like a therapist here, but it's all in your head dude. You can only do exactly what it is you want to do. If you're self conscious, it's because you want to be. Your "self consciousness" is something you created in your mind. As easily as you created that feeling, you can cultivate other feelings, like a feeling of calm. Your personality is a string of habits. If you have a habit of being self conscious, then that's who you are. Create better habits - like when you feel your …

Dude, chill. Stop having so many thoughts about things. There is no need to run your mind in circles like that. Have some conviction about what you want.

If you're calling someone a dick you might have already lost. You care too much. He's not a dick, he's just a guy who hasn't figured it out yet and someone we feel pity for. If he's a dick it means his life is broken and he's compensating. The most hurtful thing you can do to someone is make it clear that they have zero impact on your life. If he's being a dick, whatever bro fuck him the guy is a loser. Don't concern yourself with losers. Now if he's directly insulting you in front of other peop…

Here's a suggestion you probably haven't heard before - listen to talk radio. I'm not talking about morning zoo shit, but good shows with real broadcasters. I would recommend anything featuring Ron Bennington. Listening to someone who really knows how to express himself will show you what good communication is. Things like timing, proper tone, brevity, and wit are things that, with enough exposure, you will be able to realize and learn by listening to someone who truly understands them.

I've done my fair share of psychedelic and non-psychedelic drugs. I won't disagree that doing shrooms or acid will give you some sort of different perspective. But I've also found that, if you're looking for it, a different perspective is really not all that elusive. Drugs will alter your mind and get you thinking a different way. But if you're someone who does a lot of drugs, being totally sober will also do that. Taking a class, working out, talking to new people will all have the same effect …
