Nah didn’t consider long distance, just caught feels because I had so much in common with her and let it cloud my judgement and I made an emotional decision that I now regret only a day later. Was already anxious about my trip and this just compounded the existing stress. Thanks for the advice man.

Yeah man I think you’re totally right on several points here, thanks for the advice. I realize that my over investment in her is a lack of abundance thing but connecting with someone on deeper level like that isn’t something I’ve experienced much. I also always have to remind myself that the 9-10 types are a whole other animal....it’s something I’ve learned the hard way several times lately, the amount of attention they get is ridiculous.

To some people, saying the hard r n-word, even in a joking manner, is incredibly unacceptable. It is one of the most offensive words in the English language, and using it as a joke reflects a massive lack of respect of African Americans and the oppression they’ve experienced. I have cut friends out of my life over the “joking” usage of this word.

Yes yes yes. Most simple example is that someone with confidence is more likely to approach, escalate, and take risks than someone with no or low confidence. It’s a numbers game to an extent. Confidence is also attractive to everybody.

I don’t disagree, and it may sound like cliche advice at this point, but 3/4 of the posts I see on here ask about stuff that models discusses extensively. I think a lot of the everyday lurkers/commenters have not read it and may not have even heard of it. I will recommend that book to everyone because it saved my goddamn life.

Practice, practice, practice. Oh, and practice. Also read Models by Mark Manson and No More Mr Nice Guy. Humor is a challenging aspect of game if it doesn’t come naturally to you. I’d say watch stand up comedy and figure what types of humor work best for you. Some good rules of thumb for using humor on women are to combine compliments/joking insults (Wow you’re really smart for a girl from...) and to practice push/pull (occasionally “pull” your interest away if she gives a bad answer to a joke).

Hell yeah man! Check out Models by Mark Manson if you want something to really get you motivated and pointed in the right direction. Only thing I’d say you ought to be concerned ab the age gap. Some college girls will reject you because you’re older. Definitely hit some venues that’ll have people more your age.

Couldn’t disagree more, it comes down to status and personality. If a guy is the life of the party and super involved and successful, then women will be more drawn to him. A woman with poor social skills, no matter how hot, will struggle to date such men more than you’d expect.

Well I’ve come across a LOT of hot girls who while hot, struggle with many personality shortcomings (shyness, awkwardness, clinginess) that lead to the top 10% of guys using them for sex and then casting them aside. These girls will definitely “date down” given the chance. Getting laid alone isn’t seen as much of an achievement in the eyes of a hot girl, being desired, pursued, and committed to is.

Your only mistakes that I can point out without literally watching your interactions are the fact that you didn’t go in for the kill and ask her to come home w you, and said “you’re pretty cool.” You’re not the only one to make these mistakes so don’t be hard on yourself, but I’d recommend using tinder mostly for casual sex.
