Are you serious? I know he could be busy but sometimes i start feeling helpless in how to deal with this .. like if i want to talk to him what am i suppose to do then. I had a friend that liked to say, "This sounds like an issue, not an iss-me." I don't think his behavior is what needs figuring out here.

Well, typically they say fake it til you make it, but I think that should be clarified: you don't necessarily need to become a different person, you need to become a better you. You need to grow, and growth only happens on the edge of your comfort zone. Something to consider - what would you envision your best version of yourself to be? Would she still be shy and naive? Would she be a super-extroverted social butterfly? Or would she be somewhere in the middle? You can't grow by staying the same.…

You've got a few different things here that are incongruous. Does willingness to buy you dinner on dates really constitute ability to provide? You don't want to seem like you value money... but your only issue is with your different ideas on finances, i.e. the difference in how you and your boyfriend value money. It sounds like you need to be real with yourself and ask yourself hard questions so you can understand the assumptions behind your own thinking, without looking for validation/justifica…

I think if you'd attempted to answer my question you'd get closer to understanding his point, primarily because you're basing your viewpoint on assumptions that you're not challenging. Marriage is so much more than finances and a piece of paper. That is what some other commenters are trying to say with their comparisons to commitment, such as moving in, having a child, buying a house, ect. Marriage is a commitment to love someone till death due us part. It means, no matter what. Love is so much …

A wise man just said marriage is legal and not romance. Deciding to marry someone and proposing is one of the most romantic things ever. If so, why are so many women seeking marriage adamant that it wouldn't be romantic for them to propose? There's a lot of assumptions to untangle from that knot.

I don't either, but I'm not surprised. Without exception, every woman I've ever met who self-describes as strong and independent doesn't care enough about what men in general think to actually ask them and listen, so they typically stay comfortable in their assumptions and discard things that don't confirm their biases. It's all ego.

I guess it's because our value as women is 80% our looks, so I feel immediately threatened. Also the 80/20 is male projection on women This is your projection on men. Your assumptions are putting blinkers on you and shaping your attitudes. Keep reading the wiki resources and keep growing.

I agree in essence with what you're getting at, but being argumentative can't be healthy by definition, because you're arguing, as opposed to discussing or debating. Similarly, there's a big difference between having opinions and being opinionated, and it mainly resides in knowing when and how to share said opinions... that goes for both men and women. Who admires or respects a man for being opinionated or argumentative? That just amounts to being louder than others, which is not strength or pow…

You are conflating different meanings of the word judgment. Judging actions (merit) is wise, judging people (worth) is not. Because self! Because meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! One of the ways in which TRP fundamentally differs from TBP is that we aren't afraid to call a spade a spade. We aren't afraid to judge right from wrong, good from bad etc (even if we don't all agree as per what is right and what is good). The irony here is that one of the biggest shortcomings of the male side of TRP…

We should be careful of jumping to conclusions from second-hand (or in this case, third-hand) stories. You could be right about everything that you posted, but the part I quoted is not there in her post and reflects more on your own predetermined opinions than OP's situation.

There are way too many people in various stages of red pill who don't realize/accept there's any distinction, honestly. I'd say there's a pretty good correlation between red pill and US political conservatism, which has its own baggage that goes mostly unexamined within the subs. It seems stronger among the guys than here, but it's worth keeping in mind.

There are many wives, even of starting QB's, who aren't too great looking. But all of them are thin and fit. ALL. Just want to emphasize that the important part is them being fit, not thin. Healthy bodies are attractive. No man has ever drooled over a woman because of how thin she is.

Feminism has more than its fair share of issues to deal with, but we should all learn/practice how and when to differentiate between conceptual ideologies and the people who claim to practice them. Judging religions by the same rubric can be just as uncharitable, and the same could be said for red pill theory. End of the day, people are people.

Well, I didn't think I had to specify mental maturity rather than physical, but since you're being specific. I don't regard every legal adult as a man or a woman, frankly.
/r/RedPillWomen26/09/18 07:21 PM
5

I agree with your assessment, but I think it's a maturity issue rather than a personality one. We are rather selfish, simple animals at our core; many of our innate behaviors aren't especially worthy of admiration. We usually need to be taught how to grow beyond that state, and not everyone learns those lessons before they get to adult size.

Are you sure "we" want to celebrate? You're afraid if you don't plan anything there won't be any celebration. This seems all about you and your expectations. Maybe the occasion should be about what the both of you want to do... in which case you might actually need to talk about it together and not use hints. Crazy idea, I know, but it just might work.

To begin with, marriage is not the prize for young men that it's made out to be for young women, so they aren't necessarily aiming for it. That said, if men were able to convince their dream girl on marriage when they met her, as opposed to convincing her when they were able to provide for her, there would be more of the starry-eyed marriages on men's part. They would be just as likely to fail, though. The longer you take to get married, the more experiences you (should) have and the more time y…

it's pretty obvious that the relationship with the first girl didn't result in marriage because the guy had the mindset of "this girl is great, but what if there's something even better out there" while his mindset with his eventual wife is "this girl is ok, and if i don't marry her i might not be able to do any better in the future" I think this is hardly ever the case. As you said, the "dream relationship" usually ends because the guy doesn't feel ready for marriage and the girl doesn't want t…

I have not often been privy to girl talk in groups, but I've overheard women freely gossiping sex with a close friend one-on-one numerous times. Judging from those, you would think the idea of boundaries and privacy is non-existent. They'd talk about the what, where, when, how, and why, at a level of detail that I don't think anyone not involved would need to know... play-by-play, size, positions, which hole, etc. They'd mostly laugh it off if they realized I can hear them. Generally speaking, men don't want the marriage per se, they want the woman. Obviously, the more options he has, the more she'd need to offer to be worth staying with exclusively. Marriage means shouldering more responsibilities. My guess is that any exceptions who explicitly have marriage as a goal had very positive childhood environments/experiences and expect to provide that for their own kids, so that might fall under family goals more than being a goal itself.

There were a lot of good responses in the original thread and I'm glad things seem to have worked out for you both. You're assuming a position of me. I simply asked you a question. You say you're considering her feelings, but it sounds more like you're projecting what yours would be if you were in the situation. It's a bit of a nature/nurture fallacy. We (men and women) are emotional beings by nature. Men, however, have thousands of years of being trained, formally and informally, to overcome our base natures when necessary/convenient, for the sake of having civilized society. Women, by and large, have not had that to anywhere near an extent. So now you have some smug people pontificating that "men are like this and women are like this, it's just how they're born." Which really isn't much different from…

I ask a simple question, people lose their minds. Feel free to disregard, but I've heard it said, "Never complain about what you permit. Either do something about it or shut up." IMO a partner who treats your pleasure as their responsibility is the ideal, but expecting your partner to make you cum (i.e. without your direction/cooperation/guidance) is shooting yourself in the foot. Your pleasure is your responsibility before his. There's no mention of what you're doing, if anything, if you cum wi…

Not what I said. The power of mystique is less of a concern the more you bring to the table, and more important the lower your relationship market value. It's more critical in attracting a man than keeping him. It's a tool like any other, at the end of the day, but if you are strong on substance, you won't miss it as much if taken away.
/r/RedPillWomen14/07/17 11:06 PM

A woman's power of mystique is gone by then. I understand what you mean, but if that's a concern, it's really saying you aren't as relationship-worthy yet as you might think.

I don't know enough to justifiably name anyone (though Camille Paglia's name sticks out in my spotty memory). Right, so I'm sure you'd agree that would be a bit extreme, precisely because the threat of those crimes by women is generally so low. It would be useful to teach men what the risks are of women committing rape and murder, and how to assess and manage those risks, but most of what you mention there would probably be unnecessary. Treating all men as potential rapists and murderers is a similarly short-sighted approach. It's in line with treating all black people as potential thieves or gang membe…

I'm not a RPW so feel free to disregard, but common sense says lying about your partner count is not the way to establish trust. OP made her decisions in the past and she must live with them, as everyone does. What is admirable is demonstrably learning from one's mistakes. I'd encourage her to develop her value in other areas to compensate/overcome her n-count, as much as it might be a high hurdle in her case. It might not satisfy everyone but you can't do that anyway.

There are rich guys who have people hanging around them all the time, lots of 'friends,' women fawning over them, etc. who still feel depressingly lonely, and a guy who's a broke, socially inept virgin would look at him and say he could never be lonely. I imagine that the majority of the discomfort around catcalling is down to the uncertainty a woman might have in determining whether or not the situation could escalate beyond that initial comment, and her control of that possibility. See the greater male variability hypothesis. It has supporters and detractors, but it should at least make you think carefully on how you generalize groups if their averages are the same. Frankly, the superior/inferior paradigm is severely myopic. Of course, it's worth considering that there have historically also been (numerous) social factors that would have affected the opportunity for any potentially revolutionary female artist to be heard in the first place.

You are absolutely right. It's simply because men and women have different evolutionary roles that self-interest manifests differently between the sexes. Of course, the evolution of society has complicated and amplified certain things, but the "problem" isn't to be pegged on feminism or the patriarchy. It boils down to each individual growing beyond his/her primal, self-centered nature.
