I’ve pined over plenty of people (men and women) who never gave me the time of day. I’ve spent many nights eyeing someone from across the room and nothing ever comes of it cause I didn’t have the guts to go up and say hi. But completely taking the fun out of a night out clubbing by assessing targets and strategizing how to get the “close” sounds not enjoyable to me. This is how I talk in my work meetings when I’m talking about the effectiveness of various strategies for working with clients. This approach works for business but it takes the humanity out of relating to people on the personal and fun level. Why does each woman just turn into a number?
