1	What is a good place to start reading philosophy? Want to stretch myself beyond what I’ve always known. Machiavelli and Nietzsche can get a bit heavy handed for some starting out in philosophy, looking at Hume on the Enquiry of Human Understanding is also a great entry level text to establish foundations for making good arguments and justifications for those arguments (which is all philosophy is at the end of the day).	/r/MGTOW2	27/02/19 01:45 AM

Not every comment is a sarcastic remark, and that’s why I’m here on MGTOW2, where people seem to have more straightforward and productive conversations, rather than the original or some other pill thread. You can think of these size differences, though, on a spectrum; that spectrum seems to correlate with the empathy spectrum to some degree but there are some discrepancies to be worked out about environmental influences. Thus why I’m here: I’m looking for different perspectives on how people relate emotionally, regardless of the valence of that emotional relation. Further, this innate capacity may be fostered in order to move the individual up on the empathetic spectrum (ranging from sociopathy to hyperempathy).
