No. I'm not. You've got me wrong about this and that's my fault maybe more than anything for not trying to be clearer. I'm saying that the blame is being fired from both sides of the field and it feels like the victims are being left standing on the sideline. As in, no one is considering them. Of course, the questions comes up: "what do we actually do about them?" In this case, a family had to uproot and move to a different town and when the dust settles, we're left arguing about whose ideals ar…

That said, this is exactly the kind of thing that feminists, who claim to support all rape victims, should write about. This is the very thing feminists should be talking to men's groups and male survivors about. And yet, few feminists have mentioned the case at all. So it is perfectly reasonable to call feminists out on their hypocrisy. See, you've reasonably considered his situation here but you're more concerned about the hypocrisy of a group of people that have different ideals of what fairn…

Whenever someone starts complaining that others are playing the blame game, I wonder what it is they have to hide. Hide? Nothing. How about this instead. I played sports in high school and was subjected to hazing rituals because it was "tradition" and "the way things have always been done" Myself and my best friend had to go through this whole ordeal of getting swatted before every home game along with all of the other freshman in my class that year. We told to keep it under wraps because obviou…

Dude, fuck EVERYONE in this thread talkin' about "WHERE ARE THE FEMINISTS WHEN THIS KIND OF THING HAPPENS" A LOT OF ya'll are playing the blame game and pointing fingers rather than proactively coming up with a solution to STOP this kind of thing from happening to people of ALL genders. Shut the fuck up about Feminism for just long enough to realize there was a victim here. Someone who had something done to him and a town that imploded on him thinking it was his fault. This 13 year old CHILD had…

Yeah! See, I think that's what I was trying to say. I agree with most of the bullshit that CJ points out. The sheer absurdity of place acts like a counter to most of the shit that makes on the front page of Reddit. Thanks for putting pen to paper for me on that one.

You gotta admit though that /r/circlejerk itself is pretty incredible at highlighting the noise that ends up as popular posts on Reddit. Also, their css work is some of the best I've seen. I don't know where I'm going with this. I think I'm defending /r/circlejerk but only up to a point. I can't really say I identify or ever feel the need comment there.

I'm sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree with this. To me, this is a cop out answer and isn't attempting to resolve the issue whatsoever. He isn't here to be judged on his beliefs but rather how to incorporate his own into seduction which is a viable question.

I feel you're exaggerating what I originally posted. Of course anyone is free to go back and read what I said and compare it to your interpretation and vote accordingly. With that said, I agree that this of course needs to be field tested. The way OP phrased the question was "do I stand a chance" when after reading the text it actually said to me: "hey guys maybe I can work out some ways to not turn people off because I'm wearing a turban" OP probably doesn't see this as a form of peacocking, bu…

And I've seen some obese motherfuckers pull some hot ass. Granted that it's rare but I think you're implying that being fat keeps you from landing girls so my original point still stands: It'll be harder for him but that doesn't mean it's impossible. I'll go ahead and upvote you anyways though.
/r/seduction19/09/11 02:39 AM

Right, but let's be productive in helping OP trying to come up with a way to overcome the awkward-ness of his situation. I'm sure he's well aware how difficult it is for a women to see past the turban. I like the top comment that asks if it's against the rules to put a button on his head that says "not a terrorist" So things like that would be helpful rather than tell him his situation is difficult :)

Hell. Yes. One of the main features of seduction is setting yourself apart from the crowd so you're in a unique position to use your head gear to be different. Remember that most people are afraid of what they don't understand, so to counter this you must be the opposite of that effect. So when you feel the burn of other people's eyes atop your head, you have to be.. understanding? You have to blow peoples perceptions of the "guy with the towel on his head" out of the water. Maybe the rest of th…

I like what you say about the unplanned open. To reiterate, it's important to make it seem as if the conversation come out of nowhere because it accomplishes one of my favorite aspects of seduction which is disarming. It's important to always do this, and do it intentionally. There's a term that Deangelo uses which is giving a girl a "knowing smile" which combined with a situational comment can be deadly when timed and used properly. Thanks for your contribution to this thread.

I think stuff like this doesn't have to be LOL RANDOM!!1 It's perfectly plausible that OP used this correctly in context of the situation yet didn't mention it in the post.

I've found that if you can come up with lines (canned or situational.. whatever works) that "stun" a girl are really beneficial to opening. You want to really shoot for creating pause as if to get them to think: "Who is this guy"? Usually, these types of openers are followed up by some sort of knowing smile. This is my favorite type of game because it's a blast to see how hard you can trip a girl up. Thanks for the submission OP!

My GF knows I "play" around too. I don't cheat and it's usually nothing more than innocent flirting. For the same reasons you let your boyfriend do it is the same reasons why I keep it up. Its just fun and that's it. That being said, I know damn sure that you better be stable in the relationship to even attempt this. The temptation is always there, but it certainly builds character for me knowing that I have the option but ALSO knowing that choosing not to go through with it strengthens my relat…

No. In fact, I think that if you're holding back (not the same as showing restraint :P) then you're probably doing something wrong. If anything, this material teaches you the signs to look for so you can immediately understand an opportunity as it presents itself. Look, haters gonna hate. When I first studied this stuff I told NO ONE what I was doing. No one is going to label you a player or a pick-up artist unless you do something conducive to that label. If you happen to walk into a bar with a…

Since no one else has commented, I just want to point something out that I learned a long time ago: You can either game, or you can drink. Combining those could lead to some pretty horrible embarrassment.
/r/seduction03/01/11 10:30 PM
3

In fact, I'll argue that learning rather than being naturally gifted when it comes to this stuff is better suited for many situations. Think about it. Many naturally gifted males react a certain way and they do things because of conditioning themselves over time: They don't know why they do the things to attract women. They do these things because they know that's what works. Seduction takes it to another level by peeling back the layers and learning why these things work so well. This may sound…

I know many "naturals" and jealousy in and of itself is not conducive to learning this material or these types of frames. Jealously is a word I've learn to strike from my vernacular long ago. When I see someone with this particular skillset, not only do I acknowledge it; but I try to notice if they're doing something better than I am. How do they approach? What's that body language doing for them? Usually, a feeling of jealousy is reciprocated by feelings of "dislike" or in fact: "jealous-ness" …

You know what would really fuck with him? Just act nonchalant like nothing happened between you two. I'm talking play around, bust his balls in front of your circle of friends and basically act like you always have been. It could be difficult to frame that state of mind but man, that would be some fun. Of course, if you're not into the whole head games thing: Threesome.

YES. That EXACTLY verbalizes what I'm going for too!! I just get this.. I don't know this rush of creative energy. It's awesome. One time I hit a groove like this and was essentially entertaining roughly 20+ at one time. Maybe it's because I was being ridiculous but it's weird when you hit a stride like that.
/r/seduction22/12/10 07:32 PM

Yup. Oddly enough though if I'm going out, rarely will I drink. I'll do my thing before I get to the bar and order a beer to sip. Alcohol directly contributes to me getting "fuzzy" if that makes any sense.

I think it's important for OP to reflect on how far he's come. You bring up a great point in mentioning this and it's also good to note that the journey itself is often times more rewarding than the end result.

Oh, I'm by far anything from a pro. I will give myself credit for wanting to take the next step on a lot of the stuff I've read. Application and practice are HUGE when it comes to this stuff and in some circles it's agreed upon that the practice is more important than reading. Keep that in mind. I think Mystery's Venesian Arts books are incredibly useful and make the art of gaming objective. DeAngelo's stuff, I can't recommend enough. His core concepts and ideas are founding my entire approach t…

Oh man. Get a pinch hitter and do a decently full one. Also, I'm a big fan of the Rohto Silvers. Wait about five minutes and do a mirror check. Eyes good? check. Now it's game time. I know we're getting off subject here, but it can be an important part of my game a lot of the times. I amaze myself with some of the witty things that I pull out of my ass. Of course, I'm not trying to be cocky when I say that, but the filter that weed applies seems to be massively beneficial.
/r/seduction22/12/10 06:45 PM

You're best bet is maybe to start with some tried and true stuff. Try to hunt down a copy of "Attraction is Not A Choice" by David DeAngelo. Not sure what the going price is on it these days, but it's been practically priceless as far as learning some of the fundamental concepts that we discuss in Seddit. Let me know if you'd like anymore recommendations. :)

With that said, I personally use it to relax and loosen up. I've been able to really attain comfort in my own skin. Now, I'm not suggesting blunts or bong rips but more the pinch hitter/head change route. It's let me more Johnny on the spot and I feel like in that mindset, I'm able to be "quicker" with my words. This is totally an anecdote and most guys I know won't even been seen in public for fear of judgment which kills the game from the get go for them. However, if you can do it without beco…

I can see both sides of what you're doing. On the one hand, you want to put the "nail in the coffin" so to speak on any kind of fears of rejections by getting blown out. I won't lie, I had one of those nights and helped. I think what ThrowawayPUA is trying to say though is that you may see more gains by just going out and working on the stuff you know is going work. Like I said though, I see it both ways. I just hope you don't end up being "that guy" by the end of the night. You may very well fi…

So where do I go from here? You just keep going. Keep learning. Keep fucking up.. well, keep learning from your fuck ups. I think one of the quickest way is to look at most of this stuff objectively like you're trying to understand a new skill (which essentially you are) and please laugh at yourself when you make a bonehead move. Not getting discouraged is a huge part of this.
/r/seduction23/11/10 10:39 PM

I don't think it's absolutely imperative. I think it's part of showing that you're comfortable in your own skin which is huge. The thing about seduction is that there are tons of little rules that people say are HUGE factors in being successful with women. Again, I personally think it's the composition and culmination of the smaller parts that equal the overall successful package.

Haha.. It doesn't work like that. Davids material opened up the door to a lot of ideas and concepts that got my mind right before I started to talk to girls. I got farther, faster because of the doors that were opened to my based off of this mans material. I owe him a lot.

So if you can get a hold of her on FB then why not something like this: "Hey what's up dude? Just thought I'd let you know to put your party pants on because I'm headed your way this weekend for some business. Are you going to be available or should I bring this supermodel that's just begging to spend time with me?" I was about comment on this very thing. I have a friend who's sort of an alpha male that this stuff just comes natural to. YEARS it's taken me to get to the point where I'm comfortable in my skin around attractive girls. This guy has been doing it all of his life. Quick story: He's been seeing a very attractive blonde girl recently. They've been attached at the hip for a couple of weeks when he up and decided that he was going to smoke a little bud just to upset her: to see how she reacted. He k…
