It’s bad faith because I was referring to the conspiracy it in terms of dating. You made the leap to politicizing it when the line of both of our thinking was conspiracies against the other… in terms of dating My whole point was that women and men complain about the opposite sex in similar ways in terms of the standards that each hold. You posted articles about the Taliban, a right wing extremist who no longer holds office and wasn’t even democratically elected, and Twitter trolls

All of these articles are in bad faith to what I or yourself were talking about previously.

Same can be said about the men who “conspire to keep women down and in a lower place in society”. Women blame men the same way men blame women.

It’s because women expect us men to be placing them at the center of our worlds? Men then in turn look for it to be reciprocated. The last relationship I was in, I was accused of so many things that were untrue because I asked for space to focus on my career when I felt it was lagging behind and had to spend a lot of time keeping up with her schedule. Look at all the traits some other women have expressed that men need to fulfill to date them

Well now you are. Not in any of your answers previously but I do commend for asking here and getting to the root of the issue. I think it’s many things but just for one example, in the same way women feel societal pressures to fit the gender norms women feel, so do men. For men it’s pressure to attain physical strength, monetarily being able to provide, being adept in social situations, etc… which women do indeed harshly judge men for, in the same way women claim that pressure men put on them fo…

What you’re missing it’s not about your individual kids. It’s about the values that you put out into the world through your work and just your being. You don’t need a kid or a even a career to pass those values on to other people and the greater universe as a whole. Kids and a career is a great way to do that, but you also missed the point that you ARE your parents legacy, whether anyone remembered them or not. It’s not colloquial words that are it’s that when you call something “dumb” straight o…

You deflected because instead of accepting the idea that men need empathy and asking what those struggles were, you put it to a bigger group, took away its specifics to men away and then put in back on men to to do more. I do agree with you that men probably should be more explicit but in no way were do you seem open to the idea that women are lacking empathy towards men in the same way that women have been saying that men lack empathy towards them.

I wasn’t even the person that commented but you didn’t address any of the major things he was talking about here. You took things literally when their allegories for a bigger picture idea. One of your responses was “dumb if true”. What was being said went over your head is all I was saying

Yea I guess the problem is that when men are explicit in those things they get push back or deflection… which is what you’re doing here and what I’ve experienced in real life and if I’m being truly honest… it’s tough and just feels like you’re being gaslight that the idea of wanting is empathy as a man is too much

This this some of the best advice that I, or anyone I’ve seen, could give on what to do for men unsatisfied with their relationships. Good summary.

Do you see how you omitted the point of wanting to care of your husband as well?

You realize you didn’t address anything I said and just changed the point again? The definition is in the word. It doesn’t really matter who invented it. I never even talked about that nor women “running incel wiki page” lol. Just weird… idk what your point is in reference to what anyone is talking about. If you could address any of what I actually said I’ll respond. Thanks

Yea you wouldn’t call a comatose person an incel but they are involuntarily celebrate by definition. But the whole point of this post is that women use “incel” as an attack on men when those men are not in fact involuntarily celebrate. Because you use the meaning wrong, it makes it less effective as an insult and a lot of people, as demonstrated in Op’s post here “lol”.

You just changed the meaning of incel to fit your narrative but it doesn’t mean that

Whoa, whoa, whoa, you did a whole lot of projecting there. I have never once been respected when entering a new job. And when did “respect” become basic human decency. What I’m saying is what you’re told is “basic human decency” is a privilege to even think that way. I had one job where, even a few years in, I decided to grow my hair out longer. I had a boss who would constantly tell me to cut it and would make jokes. Did I expect him to be nice to me or respect me? Did I expect others to “stand…

Only if the have money, fame or status. Most of the effeminate men I went to school with did not get as many women as the football players lol

It serves women in the sense that from the male perspective, you’re taught for your whole life to be nicer and kinder to women, believe women, and that they are the “gentler sex”. You can see this in a lot of situations and one that comes to mind is starting a new job. I see a lot of women complain that they’re not “respected” at their job right off the bat. But I’ve NEVER expected to be respected while starting a job. Generally among men, respect is earned. But because of the gender roles, wome…

I didn’t go out of my way I just googled lol. It’s interesting to see your lack of ability to put yourself into another’s perspective. You didn’t even address my points that should give you to the questions you’re asking here. But how do you not understand that these things come up among males in male dominated spaces? And that it would be a fear that arises? Sane people fall in love and sane people overlook their fears for that love. Have you never heard of that? Can you please answer any of th…

Here is an article from the national institutes of health that says studies can range from .8%-30%: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1733152/ And I would argue that this level of uncertainty from studies show that they should be a more regular thing. But if you were a man, that would raise no concern for you? You just ignored what I said in the second point. There’s a difference between being concerned and cowering in fear and your point comes in bad faith. It’s “not cowering in fear…

Lol do you see how you’re not accepting of anything anyone is saying here… All your arguments are based off worry without a reason. But that reason is that it’s coming out that more and more people are realizing that their kid is not there’s and seems to be much more rampant than once believed by guys. So it’s shown that even if you don’t have a reason to doubt your spouse, it’s still a large possibility. That’s the reason and if you don’t like the reason that’s fine but it is a reason and calli…

I think you honestly have much too wide of a range of what encompasses “mentally ill” and are using it without really understanding what the true parameters of what mentally ill is. You’re saying having any doubt while you’re dating someone is mentally ill here. Why would anyone even start a relationship then? How would the population keep reproducing so there’s… actual people here? Like by your logic 99% of married people are mentally ill because they want to be sure of certain aspects of your …

I think youre kinda of missing the point and putting a lot of weight on what “trust” means. Both men and women both do things and continue on with relationships even if in the back up of their head, there are doubts, especially in a world of of social media and outside influence where doubt is constantly in your head. With your logic, a man shouldn’t stay with their wife and a women shouldn’t stay with their husband if they ask “do you still love me?” Because that means there is doubt, and shoul…

I guess you’re right in my use of “general public” Being off here. What I meant included Hollywood but this includes much more like the government, news media, academia and other areas where more “bluepill” (idk if I even believe in the pills concept) ideas are dominant. I think it’s just short sighted to pretend like they arnt there and that the negative reaction to a Velma type movie doesn’t deviate from the norm. None of the major articles written talking about its failure blame the public ou…

I don’t think this is a bad take at all and I wholly agree with a lot of your lines of thinking about men choosing terrible women. Personally I think that at the end of the day, neither should be complaining and have to take personal responsibility for choosing those with red flags and (hopefully) make better choices when it comes to partners in the future. What I think you’re missing is though that the general public opinion is that “men are trash” and have to “do better”. And then terrible wom…

Why is not worth responding to? A lot of the points you’ve made are kinda of made mute by the points made above and although I would like to disagree and come with a counter point, I don’t have them and not a woman with the life experience to have a counter point. If you could respond to the first one about men in construction or women with 3 kids living longer I would like to hear it because… yea men who work those types of jobs generally die earlier and are not as appreciated as mothers from m…

Do you see how your perpetuating this lack of empathy lmao? I’m not saying this in direct terms to the “hitting on debacle. I’m just saying what makes sense logically in terms of having empathy. You hear some is insecure about a double standard, you have empathy for them… When your solution is to attack that insecurity…? The same person your attacking also did not “create” the patriarchy and your defensiveness in this situation only increases the divide between men and women. Good luck in your r…

Do you see how you’re able to dere Corey language her to a double standard that exists for men and your response is basically “get over it”? In the past 10/20/30 years, we have taken every double standard that is negative towards women as a reality. It’s great that you don’t want an equality of outcome and deal with the world as it is. I agree. But you can’t respond and act like the world hasn’t rushed and tried to “fix” the realities of double standards that are positive towards men that men al…

But I guess you’re saying you’re okay with a double standard here that positively effects you and negatively effects you’re bf. When generally, women who give a response like yours here, also want to “end” double standards as a general goal. But the reality is, you only want to end the double standards that arnt in your favor, only leading to the power imbalance felt by men as made clear by the rise in support of manosphere influencers, that whether like it or not, are tapping into something you…

It’s because of social media and the internet. It’s now made “having a man over 6 foot” a desirable thing and therefore, impressionable people naturally and subconsciously adopt that standard for themselves to fit into the popular social strata.

Yea I guess the problem is though that most people agree saying “no fat chicks” is a bad thing. It’s generally frowned upon by most people and will generally get called out whereas a woman saying “I only want tall guys” or “no short guys” is more accepted. I agree that a preference isn’t a requirement but I think the main issue here is that most men and society agree that making strong relationship qualifiers about something someone can’t make, or even has trouble making, is a bit of a dick move…
