I can offer my anecdotal experience on this. I’m a rock climber and when I climb indoors at a gym, it is almost entirely young people (teens to late twenties) and the split is consistently ~50/50 men and women. It’s remarkable how balanced the activity is in regards to gender demographic. I’m in my early 20s myself. There are certainly older climbers but they mostly seem to climb outdoors or do lead/trad climbing. Bouldering seems to skew very young (lots of kids doing it too). Rock climbers are…

Thank you for sharing your story, It’s heartening to hear the progress you’ve made. Best of luck in the future!

Would you be open to dating a man shorter than you if you were otherwise a great fit?

Your experiences completely check out to me. US cities are scary to me as a guy—I can only imagine how women feel. I consistently worry (almost neurotically) about my sister and mother as the area we’ve lived in has grown over the years. Being consistently armed when i go outside has helped me to feel at peace a lot more. Are you in an area where that is feasible?

Can you elaborate on that? I’ve only ever dated open feminists and they’ve never been mean/hateful to me. Granted that’s just my experience and I haven’t even dated many people to begin with.

That’s very heartening to hear, thanks for sharing your situation. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of women do you tend to attract/have prospects with?

Do you live in the US by chance?

That sounds amazing. If you don’t mind me asking, what is your job?

It doesn’t sound like you’re red pilled then, it just sounds like you follow evolutionary psych, and it just so happens to align with red pill sometimes. This wouldn’t apply to you then

I’ve heard that such is often the case. I’m honest with my height on OLD and I think women have generally been pleasantly surprised when they see me, at least in regards to that. Just goes to show how many guys are willing to fib for a match.

I think that your forties are a grey area, where depending on how well you’ve taken care of yourself, your age will either start to show, or not so much. However, it’s certainly an age where most people will no longer look young. They will have noticeable facial features that indicate their age. Plenty of fit, healthy 40-somethings out there.

All of those things describe me (except for not being jacked), and I feel as though I had to work very hard to get to where I am. I guess from some perspectives you could consider me average, but I don’t want to think of myself that way :(

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you think characterizes an exceptional escort service? Like are there certain things you’d look for when judging the quality? Sorry if this question is out of left field but I’m curious about sex work and it’s hard to find a straight answer oftentimes lol Feel free to PM me too if you’d rather discuss there!

It seems that Swedens high rate is a result of a broader definition of rape, and higher confidence in the judiciary system which leads to more reports. I personally do not find that to be a negative. My understanding is that a lot of rape in the US sadly goes unreported due to little faith in our justice systems. It is interesting how statistics can be misleading. If you ever have the time and feel like it, Darrell huff’s “how to lie with statistics” is a great read, assuming you haven’t already…

I always assumed that the US infant mortality was due to a lack of healthcare access for so many. I hadn’t heard about Swedens rape though, do you have a source for that? I’m not saying I don’t believe you, it’s just that what you’re saying flies in the face of my whole worldview.

Ah I see. I am from the southern US and dream of one day being able to live in Scandinavia. Perhaps the young people are different? It seems that younger folks are more tolerant to me at least. Regardless, thanks for your input. I guess I’ll have to see for myself if I like being there. I note that those countries have super high ratings on the happiness index. Why do you think that is?

I’m sorry to hear you haven’t liked it. Could you talk a little bit more about your experience? I’ve always assumed that it was an amazing place to live, relative to the US at least.

What country is this if you don’t mind me asking?

I can see that. You’d have to keep your finances separate for it to work, and things could get weird if one partner ran into an emergency, etc.

Thank you for your advice. I do lift weights already, which has done wonders for my confidence so far. I also hope that I’ll grow out of gaming so much when I’m happy with where I live. I spend so much time gaming because I hate where I live and can’t relate to my neighbors (they hold me in disdain for my life choices).

Somewhat overweight, love gaming, have beards, short to average height and a very normal, boring job. You did not have to call me out like this lmao 💀

I completely agree. Im a child free FIRE guy and finding women who are interested in that kind of lifestyle is incredibly difficult. It doesn’t help that I live in the Bible Belt, USA. I think our demographic is just extremely small, so no need to feel bad for being single.

I’m not sure if you are athletically inclined, but I can say that BJJ has been great for me. I can say from experience that the people you meet there are incredibly welcoming/polite. You also get very comfortable being in extremely close contact with people (obviously). I think for me it has also impacted my social life outside of the sport as I don’t really feel physically intimidated by anyone anymore.

Hmm, can you liquidize your calorie intake? I've struggled similarly to you (went from 115lbs at 18 to 195lbs at 22 and hit plateaus of horrible nausea/discomfort every 10 pounds gained or so). Tapioca powder worked like a dream for me. With it, I could get down 1500 calories or so in roughly 6 cups of liquid.

No such thing. You just need to eat more. You’re obviously not eating “thousands of good calories per day” if you’re still 175.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
