We can't say that someone who is a feminist is sexist And that's my point.. that's the main theme in /r/mensrights as of late. I appreciate what the MRM is trying to do, but reddit really isn't a good representation of the good it's trying to do for both sides.

People are getting their wires crossed here. I'm not saying to support the movement. I'm saying it's not all bad evil head exploding scanners stuff that seems to be a constant theme in this subreddit. I'm also talking about all forms of the group.. not just on the internet. I know plenty of self described feminists who point out the bullshit behind the courts favoring women and the bullshit radicals.

I define feminism as a movement which keeps women equal with everyone else. In some cases they're still not; do I agree with most of what they fight for? No; but there are real bullshit hardships women have to deal with that we as men do as well. If feminists don't need a group, neither do men. And it's been said before.. but I'll say it again.. we all just need to move to egalitarianism. Actually, I'm anti-theistic. Does that mean you still judge all of Christianity based on the WBC? Upvote for actually bringing good points to the thread. But people here don't criticize VAWA; they criticize all feminists because of VAWA. It's not right at all. We wouldn't want our movement categorized by the few men that actually are sexist and actually do rape and blame the victim and ones that fit the stereotypes straw feminists point out.

I never said it was. I'm simply stating at its core, it's a good movement. Despite what the few loud feminazis want people to think. Women face problems, men face problems.. that's the way of the world. You wouldn't condemn a whole religion based on the Westboro Baptist Church would you?

that's a fantastic point. But why would feminism be about men's rights? And to add to that, has the MRM done anything to help women politically? Can't ask that question without pondering why both sides aren't doing their part. Also, there are plenty of MRAs who scream that women don't need a women's movement because there's egalitarianism. Which is true.. but then, same goes for us. We're all humans after all.

That's very true, although.. again, I think we're painted a picture of feminists by the loudest minority. Kinda like how the Westboro Baptist Church is more well known than the many more churches that send missions out of the country to help shelter and feed the homeless. I never said anti-feminism and anti-woman are the same thing. But being anti-feminism is, in itself, dumb considering it's not a bad movement. It simply has a loud bunch who represent its worst ideals.. which really aren't at the core of it. The majority of posts here on /r/mensrights haven't been talking about how one sided feminism is.. but the fact that certain vocal people in said movement are anti-male. Feminism is not anti-male. But wait.. what about all those pictures of the police and firefights who were men that were holding kids outside the school in blankets? Hell, there was a man who took them into his home when it happened. Men and women can be sympathetic and nurturing towards children. Not just women.. that's textbook sexism.

I think something more peculiar is she still pleaded NOT GUILTY. Edit: I don't get the downvotes. It's a legitimate concern.. Even though she is clearly guilty, she still feels the need to say she's not because she knows a woman's word holds up pretty well in court. Try explaining why I deserve downvotes, folks. Rediquette.

I don't hate women or feminists. Quite the opposite. The only time I have a problem with a woman/feminist is when the loudest sound the most wrong in their cause and sentiments.
