I don't know of many other careers that gives you the potential flexibility and big salaries that software engineering does. So many roles are 100% remote now. When I went through a job change last year and did lots of interviewing, I talked to multiple teams that were like, if you want to go to the gym or run errands or do whatever in the middle of the day and you don't have meetings, go for it, as long as you work your hours and are generally available, we don't care. I don't really have to do weekend cleaning sessions anymore, because I've gotten in the routine of doing things as I see them. 2	What are some ideas for hobbies? There are so many fun projects for Arduino and RaspberryPis, you can even buy kits online. Setting up a network-wide ad-block at my house with a Raspberry Pi was fun, and taught me more about how my home network and internet works (plus, no ads are sweet). 7	Is it just me or is there a lot of feminist viewpoints in this sub? Oh for sure! My situation was unique, but the whole point is that life happens, and making sure you're prepared is important, versus arbitrary ages. 34	Is it just me or is there a lot of feminist viewpoints in this sub? I was struggling with alcoholism during most of my 20s. I had to pick myself up and reoriente myself at 28 (went back and got a Master's in Software Engineering, got a job, bought a house). Not everyone can fit into a certain timeline or arbitrary age range. Now I'm about to get married and have kids in my 30s. 7	Opinions on current makeup trends? I was talking to my fiance the other day about this - I don't understand how anyone AFFORDS it all. 7	Is it ever okay to lie by omission over small things for his benefit? Lying to your adult partner isn't good. Lying to your adult partner about vegetables, to me, sounds like you're infantilizing him. If your husband is THIS averse to vegetables, he needs professional help. 1	How are you treated when you dress more feminine? In general I dress fairly tomboy/soft butch. I think I have a natural look that works with that, and it's what I think I look the best in. If I had to pick a celebrity that my wardrobe mostly resembles it's definitely Ruby Rose - cool, soft butch, with an occasional feminine outfit. 1	I'm pretty uncomfortable to expose my body hair which I think is more than usual and I've been getting anxiety with all the thinking. I think it's because of my hormones but I how do I get stable??
