I was born via IVF and I would never do such a thing to my own child. I understand that around the time I was born, it was a new and big thing, but the fact that I will never know what it’s like to have a father because my mother didn’t want to do it the “traditional” way really irks me. I was deprived a normal upbringing and it was hard for me at a young age to understand why I didn’t have it like the other kids.

How my mom acts... Whenever we went out to dinner as a family the waiter would come up to her to tell her that our table is ready. The waiter always has to repeat two or three times to get her attention. I don’t know if it’s an issue with spacial awareness or it’s some sort of half assed “power move” on her part. I think it’s the latter because that sounds like something she’d do; make the waiter repeat a few times so she can “assert her dominance over the little wagie.”

Though I do agree with this, sometimes men need help from others. If your fellow man is acting distant or depressed, check in with them, offer your support. Real men support real men, a concept that most women can’t seem to grasp. In an age of rising male suicides due to divorce rape, combat PTSD, and other reasons, we won’t stand to let another man take his own life. Go your own way, and guide others to find their own way.

God I remember when that happened. I was in middle school. I had a Muslim teacher at the time that defended the people who blew up the building. She said that it was justified because depictions of Muhammad are haram. I hated her class. She was an English teacher. Made us read The Breadwinner and I am Malala. Both of those books were about a Muslim girl growing up in a war torn country. They weren’t even good books. They were only there for the purpose of teaching us about Islam.
