Note that I didn’t say it was necessary but it does make it SO much easier to look amazing.

Number one way to look good in almost anything: lose any excess weight. I’m a bit fat, but I have a medical condition and I’m working on it. Down a large chunk already. :) Second: wear simple prints in moderation, stick to solids mostly. Third: wear dresses, sometimes pants, rarely jeans. Wear button down shirts or blouses instead of tees. Iron or steam items, don’t go out wrinkled. Fourth: wear classic makeup, jewelry, and clothing styles. Embrace minimalism. Be freshly manicured. Five: Posture…

Don’t pursue, first of all. I’d suggest to him that he needs to work on himself and get in a better place before starting a relationship. That doesn’t mean he can’t contact you again in the future when he’s done the work. You might still be available... but don’t wait around on him.

Low effort and last minute. You’re busy. Some of these guys are capable of more, if you give them a chance. That said... probably not this one.

The good ones are few and far between. I dated probably a dozen guys while separated from my husband. Only perhaps 2-3 were good candidates, and one of those struck me as a confirmed bachelor that never wanted to get serious, although he was in every other way so very promising. Of course we all know that “confirmed bachelors” just need the right motivation. So, I’m sitting at around a 20% “success” rate for quality men. Low, but definitely not non-existent. Important to note: I just crossed ove…

Yes!!! It’s gotten to the point that I won’t even swipe right on a guy of all his pics are in hats.

You don’t have to cut contact necessarily... but you should definitely date more people. Be less available. As you date others it will be easier to break with this one. Try to think of him as a friend with benefits, because that’s all he really sounds like.

I’ve seen it said here, but it could have been infiltrators/trolls.

Well, I have Celiac so I make sure that is known and he will account for it. Literally I’ve said, “Oh, wherever can accommodate a Celiac.” One, I need to know that a man is going to be as careful about my health issues as I am. Two, Tbh, it’s tiring Af having to deal with this crap all the time. Someone else can help me out. I’ve actually been really lucky— the guys that are super into me ask plenty of questions and are okay with planning and accommodating my needs, so it’s obvious quickly who I…

I think that FDS works with many men. Probably even “most” men. It will not work with ALL men, because nothing can ever do that. There are exceptions to every rule.

I agree. Six months, minimum. This sounds like a make him wait situation. By that, I mean don’t move in and keep him in a holding pattern. Perhaps even tell him you’re not comfortable moving in together unless you’re seriously committed (I.e., engaged). Be careful how you word this— you don’t want him to take it as an ultimatum or a challenge to be overcome. By the time you’ve been dating six months, most if not all of his character flaws should be apparent and you can re-evaluate the situation …

My vote is with NO, absolutely not. I believe that sex is so vitally important to marriage that all parties involved should know their preferences and have some basic level of sexual knowledge and skill. That said, it is technically possible to obtain said knowledge and skill without having PIV sex.

Here to add: it’s also PROVEN that HBC can alter who you find attractive! Don’t be like me, a childfree woman who gets married, has to go off HBC and then finds she has zero natural chemistry with her husband. Ended up divorcing him.

No, it was a Wednesday night and he was asking for a weekend date. Definitely not last minute. He knows better, lol. He waited til Thursday one week and lost out.

Legit lost out on a date because of this. Oh well! Now he’s wondering what I’m doing instead and asking to see me mid-week sometime. :P

There are people here who have said that you should be always looking to trade up. I don’t know if I agree... but there is maybe something to be said for maintaining your value and letting men learn that you still have options.

I did see something recently about how to get an Instagram person to “initiate” with you, but tbh I don’t remember half of it because I’m never going to put effort into that crap lol

I strongly recommend intermittent and/or extended fasting. A recent study completed finally proved that fasting leads to greater weight loss than simple calorie reduction. When I’m trying to lose, I do one meal a day (OMAD), get plenty of nutrients and calories and still drop pounds and inches.

I bailed on someone because I figured out they showed up 35 minutes before our scheduled time. 15-20 is semi-reasonable. More than that is creepy af. 6 hours? Oh hell naw.

I’m a bit fatter than her, but in the face I look very similar to her. VERY similar, though perhaps my bone structure is a bit nicer: bigger eyes, smaller nose. It makes me happy seeing so many people regarding her as attractive and an “appropriate” match for someone like Keanu Reeves, because maybe that means I’m more attractive than I’ve given myself credit for.

When OLD, I make sure to include it in my profile in a couple ways that I’m childfree. I select for men who are also childfree and anyone who “might” want kids but never those that say they absolutely do want them. Fence-sitters or reluctant life script followers are my favorite, because 99 times out of 100 they are easily convinced they don’t need kids. More money for fun stuff and free time usually does the trick lol.

Yes!!! OMAD all the way. I’m currently doing 2 a day with some OMAD to change it up. When I want to speed up losses I’ll go to OMAD entirely.
