Fucking adult discourse. Look at us. In a world of rage and partisan issues. Now let’s fix the goddamn planet and set it up for a future. I’m with you.

Wait, do you mean me? I’m a person that would actually listen? Not even joking, I’m taking this as a compliment. I’m totally worn out on the “you’re entirely wrong and I’m entirely right and nothing is going to change this between us” concept. There isn’t a specific set of rules that is going to make the world a better place. It’s going to be our ability to communicate our needs and hear the needs of other people that were actually going to be able to move forward and that’s the sort of thing yo…

Here’s the thing. I 100% agree now that the punching of the wall could have been anything. Nothing masculine about being angry. 100% agree. However. When this woman labeled it fragile masculinity, and you guys made this post and got all upset, it became an example of fragile masculinity. A perfect, perfect example. Again, not because he punched the hole, but because you guys can’t handle that she put some words next to it that you don’t like. Explain to me how this reaction, this MensRights post…

Pretty writing. If I’m so distracted by the loss of my friend, if I really don’t care about my fragile masculinity, why did I make a post about it in r/mensrights? Why didn’t I just fucking mourn my friend.

They use the words masculinity, toxic, fragile, to TRY TO demonize men. Why do we listen? Who the fuck cares what these girls say about us? If you’re a good man, you have nothing to fear. The people in your life know you’re a good man. The people will meet will see that you’re a good man when they get to know you. This is playground bullshit. Women are going to call us names. It’s been happening since the dawn of man. We could call them names back, we could ignore them. But we’re afraid to. We d…

The point is that it doesn’t matter who punches the wall or what fucking room it’s in. the point is that when the phrase “fragile masculinity” is brought into the equation, men like you have an absolute fit. Throwing this fit, making this post, raging in the comments: it’s all PROOF of fragile masculinity. If it isn’t so fragile, if punching walls is just a normal part of the human emotional experience that we all experience regardless of our sex, if our sisters do it too, then why are we SO OFF…

Sweep yourself up on the way out. I knew you were fragile, but seriously, you’re making a mess.

Sure, being called a rapist if you haven’t committed rape would be a horrible thing. Being called fragile, and then behaving fragile as a result, is not the same thing. Men have been insulting women for centuries, and they still accept us. Women call us “fragile”, and we freak the fuck out. Because we’re fragile. We need to stop being so fragile.
/r/MensRights12/09/20 02:22 PM

The very existence of this post, in this sub, is hard-as-stone proof that men cannot handle a shot to their egos. She put up this sign, and 900 of you agreed that it was insulting to men. Please explain to me how this isn’t fragile masculinity.
/r/MensRights12/09/20 02:19 PM

Proud of your growth and I genuinely love your story. It seems entirely aside from the point though. If I’m cleaning the women’s room and I see a broken tile, I promise I’ll put “fragile femininity” on there. Because I can. They put that sign there because THEY CAN. And we’re here complaining in the comments about it, because we’re insulted. BECAUSE OUR MASCULINITY IS FRAGILE. Cmon boys. Look at yourselves.

/r/seduction08/11/19 06:51 PM

It’s only as lazy as you make it. Showing up and saying “hey, you’re hot, can I have your number?” Is lazy. Starting a conversation, flirting, getting to know her and scheduling an actual date with her: not lazy at all. I don’t really understand your question I guess. Are you talking about messaging someone you’ve never met or talked to, or are you talking about breaking the ice that way?

Having an unshakable conviction is not something you should ever have to “convince” yourself. If so, somebody has shaken it, lol.
/r/seduction02/11/19 04:26 PM

In essence, affirmations are only necessary when there’s no confidence there in the first place. I’m looking at that first one specifically: if you’re affirming that you have an unshakable conviction, then you’re worried that you might not, and if you’re worried you don’t, then you don’t. Does that make sense? It’s an oxymoron, is what I’m trying to say.

Here’s the only advice I can give you based on my experience: Don’t be a wallflower. Don’t sit there and wait for someone to come after you. It will never happen. High schoolers are all waiting for something amazing to happen, so you’ll never get approached if you wait. Do the approaching. Asking a single girl to dance will never kill you. Ever.

Thank god someone posted this. This entire sub is full of titles and vocabulary words and stuff that makes women sound like wild animals, being observed by “scientists” or something. Even the word “game” is hyper cringe. The trick to being comfortable with things like this is to realize that you’re not too much different from anyone else. We’re all people, we all want generally the same things.

Doesn’t matter if you’re interested. Actually better if you’re not, sometimes. Will help with the shyness. It’s not about making every girl you talk to date or sleep with you. Sometimes you just go out there and pique her interest for a few minutes. You learn something. You might mess up—you’ll still learn something. Then you keep going.

I’m not trying to stifle criticism! I’m trying to make sure that while that criticism is dealt, it also still receives the respect it deserves The funniest part about this, too, is that you really genuinely think I’m a woman. I can name plenty, but are you, an internet stranger, going to recognize them? You act like you have me cornered when really there’s no answer anyone could give you that would get you to understand. How am I throwing dudes down the drain? This is making me legitimately sad. Why can’t I defend women (I’ve only defended honest victims thus far) without being accused of putting down men? Why is everything such a gender-war? Why is there such a divide? You want to start getting girls, you’ll start treating them like people. They take surprisingly well to that.

Anyone that references the MeToo movement in regards to false accusations is disrespecting women that used it to come forward with real accusations. Also, read some of these comments... women are apparently monsters around here.

Correct and correct. But not all feminists are like this.
/r/seduction24/10/19 05:30 PM
1

I’m sorry, you lost me. Legitimate victims have no responsibility to do anything once they’ve come forward. They’ve suffered. We should be fixing the system. We were having such an adult conversation but you just dropped “no feminist really does” on me and now we’re into generalizations. Women speak up all the time. We don’t listen. That’s how we got in this mess.
/r/seduction24/10/19 05:29 PM

No you’re totally right! And I’m not denying this for a second. I think that’s why I’m being so heavily downvoted. My issue here is that the actual hashtag was used. Imagine being a legitimate victim of harassment during the time the hashtag was getting popular. Imagine you take months, maybe years, waiting for the moment to finally come forward. You see other women speaking up and you finally do too. Then, in a post about misinterpreting workplace flirtation, somebody throws up that hashtag as …

I don’t think anyone that’s hesitant to associate with the movement is quite relevant. You’re right that it’s become a monster and I understand some women don’t want to associate with it. At this rate, neither would I. But this is all stuff that happened after MeToo started being misused. We can refer to: the abusers of the MeToo movement, and: the legitimate victims. But when you just say “#MeToo”, you’re clumping those two groups together. A legitimate victim, I imagine, would be devastated an…

Somebody, somewhere, at some point in time, concocted what we know as Heroin for the first time. Do you blame this man for the millions of subsequent heroin deaths? He was trying to concoct a pain relief medicine from opium. He wasn’t trying to kill millions of people. By blaming the MeToo movement for what it’s caused, you’re essentially claiming that the original victims that came forward had this intention in mind. I’m 100% on board with discussing that dynamic, it’s really fucked up at the m…
/r/seduction24/10/19 05:01 PM

You’re right that it’s horrible that women are doing that. It really is, and yes, it’s a lot more common since that movement began. The movement itself was designed to give REAL VICTIMS the courage to come forward. They did not intend for this name, MeToo, to be associated with ALL improper workplace accusations, and used as a tool against men. We should 100% be calling out those bitches. But we don’t need to use the name. We just don’t. It slings mud in a direction we shouldn’t sling mud.
/r/seduction24/10/19 04:56 PM

Let me try to make your example actually correlate to what I’m talking about. Basically, the equivalent would be shitting on the corrections system as a whole because of wrongful convictions. The corrections system is essential, it’s just super fucked up, and misused by certain individuals.
/r/seduction24/10/19 04:54 PM
1

That’s totally irrelevant to what I’m saying! False accusation happens all the time! I agree with you. What I’m saying is that you can talk about false accusation and workplace ethics without bringing up the metoo movement! Watch, I’ll give you an example! “OP, I think the guy you’re interested in is staying distant from you because he doesn’t want to do something that will get him falsely accused. It’s a growing problem lately.” I have successfully conveyed the same message without disrespectin…

You’re totally right. Totally right. That being said though, we still don’t need to bash the name. The MeToo movement isn’t RESPONSIBLE for the false accusations. Bitches are using it as an opportunity, sure, but when you disrespect the name of the movement itself you’re brutally disrespecting the people that did have legitimate claims.
/r/seduction24/10/19 04:44 PM

I agree with you. A comment saying “He’s worries he might be falsely accused of harassment.” Would have said the same thing. Bringing the metoo movement into this is completely uncalled for.

I think you were generalizing at the end with the bit about modern feminists, as there is still a HUGE difference in treatment of men and women and it needs to be fixed, but I’ll let it slide because there are PLENTY of people that use that difference as an excuse to put down men, just as you said. I just want the word “feminism” to be okay. I hate that some people are ruining it.

You seem like an up-front guy. I don’t think my issues are pointed towards people like you at all. Here’s ALL I was trying to say: the original commenter did NOT need to reference the hashtag. He could have said “your coworker is probably playing it cool because he doesn’t want to get wrapped up in a harassment scandal”. That would have said THE SAME message without bringing the women with legitimate claims into the equation. Misinterpretation of workplace behavior/flirting is an absolutely real…

It’s not about being smooth. It’s about knowing when you’re not wanted. I’m wasting breath arguing with everyone about this. I just don’t think you guys are doing yourselves any favors by alienating women like this. Always posting about how you want to know what “game” to use like you’re hunting deer. That’s why you’re having trouble. You’re treating women like animals.
/r/seduction24/10/19 04:15 PM

Using it in reference to guys genuinely just trying to flirt and getting in trouble for it is supporting an insanely toxic idea that women are being unreasonable by coming forward about harassment. That’s all.
/r/seduction24/10/19 01:14 PM
-17

Let’s say 10% of #MeToo cases are fake. Hell, for the sake of example, let’s say 50%. By shitting on the name, you’re still voluntarily choosing to disrespect the real cases. Maybe I’m in the minority but that’s fucked up.

To each their own, really. In my personal opinion, using a script of any sort is kinda fucked up. Women aren’t NPCs in video games. Even if it doesn’t work, saying something specific to the person you’re talking to is better than treating everyone the same. It’s about respect. How does this make you different from a bot?
/r/seduction09/10/19 04:22 PM

Actually I was going to mention that. I think even if you approach one of them alone (which would probably be a very short window, it would be obvious you were scouting her) you’d probably get shunned by the whole group if you’re shunned by the one. Not 10 times out of 10, but there’s a significant chance that she goes back to the group and points you out and mentions that you, well, scouted her. I don’t know if this will work in every situation, but I’d say walk straight up to the whole group. I imagine being singled out would be flattering to her. You also might get collectively rejected, but who cares?

People carry a lot of aggression with them, even the most peaceful. Having a healthy outlet to throw some friendly zingers is such a nice thing.

I was kidding about the fighting part, promise. And I really don’t like to talk down, but even as an example and not a script, this is a bad example. You know what goes on a menu? Food. Items. Objects. Even playfully mentioning to a woman that they’re something that would be on a menu is just morally fucked. It might work on some people, but on the people it doesn’t work on, you’re going to upset them. Little bits of flirting snuck into an extremely fast interaction is good. I’ll agree with you …

It’s gonna be a no from me dawg This advice, and that dialogue, are extremely unprofessional and as a customer, I’d probably intervene if someone spoke like that in front of me. I know the woman behind the counter isn’t allowed to do anything but smile and wave. But I’m a customer. I can throw you out into the parking lot like a rag doll and I won’t lose my job for it. I worked as a server and a lot of men tried lines like this on my female coworkers. It ruins their night because they have to pl…

Dude the dialogue in this post (the “you’re not on the menu” bit in particular) needs to be burned with kerosene and a lighter. Interactions with employees need to be WAY more tasteful. If you’re just trying to brighten someone’s day, just tell them they did a great job at whatever they’re doing. Don’t traumatize them lol

See I completely agree with you lol. Does it seem weird to you that there are so many comments supporting him? I feel like the downvotes should be there

I mean sure, I just feel like going young exclusively is lame. Am I getting downvoted because I like older women or because I don’t date 20 years down? I’m confused lol

If I had his looks, this graph would look the exact opposite. In my 20s I’d be bagging cougars and in my 40s I’d date my same age. Girls are one thing. Get yourself a woman.

I won’t let the success of others affect my success or my failure. There’s nothing wrong with being happy for him. Even if he is hot.

I had the most magical, surreal, romantic experience I’ve ever even heard of earlier this year. It was the sort of experience that just feels like so much more than life. Nothing came of that relationship. It actually went pretty badly pretty quick. I’m not trying to bum you out, just this: treat her as if she’s not into you, and you want her to be. Don’t ever stop earning her.

Yeah that’s so cool! Just make sure you’re careful. These things happen and they don’t always mean she’s the “one”. But that’s a hell of a meet story. It’s believable that it might turn into something amazing.

Sometimes it just happens. Good job making your move. It sounds like that’s all you really did. The rest was just the universe.

When you learn to love rejection, your outlook completely transforms. I look back on all the situations where I didn’t act. The regret destroys me every day. I can’t even remember my rejections. They don’t stick. They don’t hurt. It’s beautiful.

It’s morally better to hook up with sober people. But morals aside, it’s also the law. Thinking with your brain head and not your snake head was the best thing you could have done. Now go bag someone with a clear head, it’s hotter.

I know this is unrelated but the only time I ever had a girl give ME her number it was when I was a server and she left it on the receipt. Super bold. I always thought that would be a really lame way to approach someone. But this girl wasn’t even attractive, and the move almost totally worked on me. I like to think it would be the same for a guy to do to a girl but who knows.
