I understand the point you are making, but there is really no objective way to measure the selection bias (there is no scientific way to measure attractiveness). 1	Why does this sub appear to be against equality? As I have stated before, I am with you in the belief that there is a problem when gender = entitlements. In a perfect world, equality in outcome should be a result of equality in effort (as a Liberal I would get rid of affirmative action). I do believe that women are in many ways treated unfairly superior, however, especially in places like the Middle East, it is much harder to be a woman. I don't think believing that if a woman or a man EARNS their spot makes me one, nor does believing a women shouldn't be put in a legal disadvantage because she is a woman. 1	Why does this sub appear to be against equality? I think everyone has experienced BOTH a woman and a man like that. It isn't even fair to say most are like that, even if it is true (and I don't think it is). We are wired to use biological traits to our advantage, so for the women that do this, it may not entirely be their fault. However, if a women is just as talented as a man, shouldn't she be able to play in the NHL (which has happened before). Should an equally qualified women be able to serve in the military? So no, you are not inferior to any woman because you are a man in my book (but you aren't superior). Rather, I have seen posts against suffrage, equal pay... Again, I believe in equality, not inequality. Currently, I think the world promotes inequality in many ways (not all, such as in your example: politics) against men, while this sub promotes it against women.
