Maybe, but I'm trying not to be cynical.

My Hebrew is pretty rusty, but it roughly translates as "Violence with someone you love? Don't pick up your hands. National line for men of the cycle of family violence." Things are pretty traditional here, so I didn't expect to see any resources for men...

I can't speak for Muslims, but as a Jew, our congregation's Mohel (the Rabbi who performs the circumcision) treats the procedure as any doctor would. He only performs the procedure with sterile, medical-grade equipment and he attended professional training before getting his certification. We don't just give any old shmuck a knife and say "have at it". It's a serious procedure and it is handled as such.

I'm an observant Jew and I believe in traditional gender roles. I go out and work, take care of finances, etc. while my wife stays home and takes care of the kids, cleans, cooks, etc.

Even if you do get the kids passports, some countries require a married person travelling alone internationally with their children to have a letter of consent from their spouse to make sure they aren't just running away with the kids, which seems to be precisely the idea here.

Which denomination of Christianity are you speaking for? Explainations can vary wildly depending on the specific denomination. I believe the Catholic church holds the beliefs I stated above, but I could be mistaken.

Circumcision is one of the most controversial issues in religion today. From a religious standpoint, Jews circumcise infant males because G-d told Abraham to circumcise himself, and it stands as a reminder of the covenant (agreement or deal) between G-d and the Jewish people. I don't know much about Islam, but I do know most Muslims also circumcise young males, but the regulations surrounding the procedure are less stringent than the Jewish requirements. Christianity, on the other hand no longer…

Funny enough something related to that happened to me a couple weeks ago. I'm an observant Jew, and some Jehovah's Witnesses came a-knockin, so I put on my Yarlmuke, answered the door and told them I was studying Torah and they were welcome to join me. They politely declined as usual. But back to the topic at hand, that's pretty much what it's feeling like right now.

I flush the condoms when I'm done, and I make sure they go down.

[Maher's layers] said Maher is a "confirmed bachelor, and a very public one at that" I don't think they know that confirmed bachelor is another way to say you're gay.

Look, here's the deal. There is a Rabbi in israel who believes jews should wear 72 sets of tzitzit (an undergarment worn by Orthodox Jews), 6 sets for each of the 12 tribes. Although this man is a well regarded scholar, most of his students disregard that part of his teachings. Just the same as the above Rabbi, most Jews of Spanish descent do not follow Maimonides' teachings, and the other groups follow the teachings they find relevant. Now, in regards to whether or not circumcision degrades sex…

I have experienced life, health and sex, and let me tell you life and health are very much the same, cut or uncut. Now when it comes to sex, I have plenty of sensitivity. How much sensitivity compared to being uncut, I cannot tell, but let me just say I wouldn't base my circumcision argument off of how much pleasure I experience during sex.

All I'm saying is that I have experienced no negative effects of being circumcised.

As an observant Jew, I can tell you that circumcision being used to control and suppress an individuals sexuality is false. The purpose of religious circumcision is to reaffirm the covenant between G-d and the Jewish people. Being circumcised, I can confidently say that it has had no effect on my health or my relationships whatsoever.
