I'd love to see a breakdown on the profit percentage of health care visits. Anyone think maybe there's a chance that women are just being charged more? They have more parts to get poked at every year, and oh yeah, that whole childbirth thing - which arguably benefits humanity as a whole. Maybe at least part of the incurred costs are just price gouging for routine checkups? Anyone have stats on this?

The tragedy is that it's at least partially true. Beyond just girls - don't corporations (at least in the U.S.) have way too much power over kids and adults? From Fox News to product placement in hip-hop, marketing is a pretty strong and extremely well funded source of influence. Add the fact that kids try to fit - which I think most redditors have struggled with - and you get a bunch of ankle-biters subscribing to the whole princess ideal. And princess-y girls suck for everyone, not just the gu…
