I think the bigger wall you hit is the cultural differences. There are ALOT of Koreans in my area of Beijing and I've noticed that they are even more difficult to pick up than the Chinese girls. Had really bad acne for years, and after seeing a dermatologist for 2 months it was completely gone. Though just because you have acne doesn't mean you have no chance with women. Not many people are a fan of drinking liquor straight, unless the only purpose is to get drunk. There are many great classic drinks that only require one mixer. Rum and Coke is a drink that tastes great while also being pretty strong.
